We did have a lot of fun Worfiedoodles. It seemed like the day just went to fast.
I couldn’t believe we had been there for 8 hours. I guess the old saying that “ time flys when your having fun” is right for sure.

Having my sweet little sister along to visit with and shop until we dropped was awesome. We are great shopping buddies for sure.

I always laugh when we both say we are not going to buy another Halloween decoration then we both come out of the store with bags of new things.

A shopping motto shared with me a long time ago by a lovely lady I knew “Shop until you drop, spend to the end and buy till you die……LOL

Wednesday, September 14th

I got up this morning and decided to head over to the parks for awhile. My sister wanted to go and have a relaxing pool day.

The sun was shining so I got ready and off I went to the water taxi.

I stopped and into Starbucks for some coffee to go and I decided to go to IOA this morning.












I decided got have a look in the Trading Company Store.

I noticed there was plenty of Michael Myers things this year for the Halloween fans.







There was a Skeleton Scarecrow stalk set in the store.


These skeleton suncatchers were cool.

They even had Halloween scented candles.

The wallet was very interesting and as you opened there were pictures inside.




There were photo frames, coffee cups, drinking glasses.






It was time to head to the back of the store and see if there was any new Potter merchandise.


This is a nice scene in the store of the bottom part of a Hot Air Balloon.




I like the Hogwarts Train Tickets. I have used these for scrapbook photo books for the grandchildren on our trips to Universal.



I always have a look around for new merchandise on all my visits.


This Death Eater mask was new.

I noticed the new luggage and I was tempted.









I liked this Gryffindor shirt.





There were some new plush character’s Hermione, Draco, Death Eater and Hagrid.

I then took a walk near the water and snapped a few photos of the Velocicoaster..







Then onto Marvel Superhero Island.






And then a ride on Spider-Man. I basically walked on the ride. It was not busy at all.

I did like the Spider-Man ride.

Then it was back out for my walk.


They had a lot of the Superhero plushes too in the Comic store.


And some nice backpacks and bags.





I thought it was cute that even the Arcade games had Halloween prizes if you won your game.

There are so many colorful places to look at in Toon Lagoon.

This shirt caught by eye as it reminded me of dear sweet Oscar. It was my nieces Dachshund. He has gone on to doggy heaven.

That is so nice that the Artists take time to personalize their artwork.

Last year it was a fluke, but I happened to be at Universal Studios when the Artists for the Frankenstein Artists signature series merchandise were at the Five & Dime signing their poster and shirts etc.

It was special as I bought my niece the poster and they all signed their respective portion of the design on the poster to her. They were all very nice. I had it framed and she loves it.

I also bought a few of the insulated tall cups with the same design.

Quality, appreciate that base always consistent design to coordinate with existing pieces

I have a few Jim Shore pieces. The quality of his work is very nice. My favorite is the Vampire. Here is a photo of it from online. Mine is boxed up with my Halloween Decorations.

I was really temped to buy my niece a few pieces. She has a curio cabinet filled with Nightmare before Christmas already.

Wednesday, September 14th continued

I continues my Walk around just taking photos of things I thought were fun and interesting.




I saw this shirt in a shop and thought is was funny that it was not sold in the shop after you come off the ET ride. I did buy it for my great nephew J.


As I continued to walk I came up to Kong. There were some TM’s outside of the entrance and the ride was down. I was going to ride this, but another day maybe. I do like the very end of the ride as I always take the 3D glasses off to have a good look at Kong.





Then it was a nice walk through the Jurassic Park area and onto Hogsmeade.

I always enjoy taking photos of Hogwarts Castle.


The snow topped roofs with the wonky chimneys are fun to look at. Especially considering the heat in Florida.

I decided to take a respite from the warm day in the Hogs Head.



I have had their lemonade before and it is very good. I purchased my lemonade and turned to look for a place to sit and enjoy my drink and I saw Carole and Tom sitting at a table and went over to say hi. It was a surprise to run into them. We had a nice visit. They are really very happy people. It is so nice to talk with other folks who are so passionate about their love of Universal and the resorts. We finally said our goodbyes and Carole had the best photographer of their journeys on the boards here (her hubby Tom) take a picture of Carole and myself before we parted.

I then headed outside to the back of the Hogs Head/Three Broomsticks to get some photos of people enjoying the Velocicoaster.

These people are getting some air time.




I had to take a photo of the Three Brooms before leaving.

I took a look in Dervish and Banges. There are always different things in all the various Potter shops.



This Medallion board and collectible spell marker medallions was something new I had not seen before.

Wednesday, September 14th continued


Then after Hogsmeade it was onto the Lost Continent.

I was looking forward to going in and having a look at the All Hallows Eve Halloween Boutique. The boutique was beautiful last year and I was looking forward to seeing what the creative minds of the design team responsible for the boutique would come up with this year. I was not disappointed.



















I liked the vintage designs of Halloweens past.

There was so much to look at and appreciate. They had packed so much in such a small space and it was done so well.

I had a nice talk with Alex a TM that worked in the boutique. He was so nice.

I can remember Halloween cute outs like this witch that had the movable joints from the 1960’s.

And of course they had the star of the boutique Lil Boo with a body and all.


There was plenty of merchandise to choose from in the boutique.




And food items






The boutique was beautiful. I enjoyed looking at all the Halloween decorations.

Whoever had the idea for the All Hallows Eve Boutique hit it out of the park. It is awesome.


After the boutique I continued to walk around The Lost Continent and I saw some fun Archeologists.





Outside of

I had heard there had been a refresh to this experience and would try and make it in for a visit on this trip, but not today as it was closed.

I did pass Mythos . I have had many good meals at Mythos over the years and only one bad one. So I try and stop in for a meal on every trip, but I had other plans today for lunch.
