I'm excited! I saw The Little Mermaid as my first movie theater experience when I was 8. Ariel has always been my favorite princess! I can't wait to watch it. I never really liked Aladdin, but we watched the live action on a cruise and I loved it!
It's a fantasy. As is Little Mermaid. I loved sharing the 1997 Cinderella with my children, and if the live-action Little Mermaid is a good film, I will love sharing it with my grandchildren.
Oh yeah. And the 2014 remake of "Annie" did really well at the box office too. Another gem.One of my absolutely favorite Disney movies is the live-action Cinderella with Whitney Houston as the Fairy Godmother. Wonderful music, amazing vocals, great acting, and Jason Alexander and Whoopi Goldberg add awesome comedic elements. And actors are cast with no regard for "racial sense" - for example, an African-American/Caucasian parent pair have a Filipino-American child.
Weak argument. People weren't upset that Will Smith was black. It was because Will Smith wasn't blue.I think Disney knows what they are doing these days. Weren't we suppose to hate Will Smith as Genie
