Nope--I would have thought, "good for her, those shoes do not look comfortable!"
Emily Post would no doubt raise an eyebrow. Snapping a picture and taking it public on the internet would probably put Ms. Post at risk of permanent frown line damage as well.
I posted that it didn't bother me. However, if it were indoors, it likely would bother me a bit.
It’s not as if she added the woman’s address, SS#, and phone number. Depending on the state of her feet, it may or may not be disgusting. But it’s rude and shows a complete lack of manners and awareness of how to behave in public. It falls into the “tacky” category.Personally, I think it’s beyond weird to purposely take pictures of strangers in order to shame them.
It looks like the picture has since been cropped, you are not going crazy.
