Illuminations Cruise Booking Unbelievable!

On New Years Day I was talking to my wife about getting up early to book an Illuminations Cruise the following day for April 2nd (90 days out).

It was 1:03pm and she said "Well lets call now for one on April 1st.

I said "No way, these things book up by 7:05am the first day you can call in."

And she says "It's New Years Day nobody is calling today."

I said "It will NEVER work!"

Well she was right!! The operator was shocked!!!!! she said they are usually sold out by 7:03am.

So you can never tell.

Were you actually *able* to book the cruise that you wanted or not?

Sorry, yes I was able to get my res. Now I will make my wife get up at 6:45am to try to get our Cindy's res.

It's spooky. I called 75 days out from my first day at WDW and booked an illuminations pontoon cruise the 2nd evening (Sunday, 3/23) of my trip. The CM was also surprised that I could get a boat that easily. I'm happy, but shocked. First time staying on the resort. CSR.
