Freedom vs. Liberty

Just booked our first cruise on RCL- previously only sailed DCL. I did it kind of hastily to use my American Express cash back credit by tomorrow. I booked 4 night Bahamas on Liberty of the Seas out of Fort Lauderdale. Well then I realized my WDW annual passes will expire the month before we go and I was thinking it would be nice to do a couple days at WDW before or after. The only ship that sails at a comparable rate is Freedom out of Miami. Is one of these ships better than the other? The things most important to us would be dining, service, cabins (we went with junior suite). Entertainment isn't too important and neither is the casino.

Liberty and Freedom are essentially the same ship. They were built a year apart on the same floorplan. Freedom was just refurbished though, so it'll probably feel a little newer.

Doesn't Liberty have the Tidal Wave waterslide as well? I believe it also had Saturday Night Fever broadway show.

Freedom was recently refurbished with slides, new restaurants and things like laser tag added (but not running as of now with the pandemic)

What did you decide?

Never sailed on Liberty. But we are booked on a 4-night Bahama cruise on the Freedom the first week on June. Will we see you there?
