Hi! Trying to decide between:
Allure
Jan 2015
Eastern St. Thomas, St. Maarten Nassau
promanade inside stateroom $3500
or:
Freedom of the Seas
March 2015
Eastern St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Cocoa Cay
inside stateroom $3200

We have 2 dds who will be 11, 13. They would not do the zip line, love entertainment. January I would have to take off work and they would miss school. In March I would just miss work. What would you do?

March! I would gladly give up Nassau for CocoCay.

The promenade thing seemed cool, but you have NO privacy unless you keep your blinds closed. You've got the people across from you and also from below who can all have a peek while idly looking around. (and there's so much to look at on the promenade, I found myself looking up quite often!) Most blinds were open the first two days of our recent Freedom cruise, and as it went on more and more were closed. If they're closed anyway, what's the point? Save a few bucks and get to CocoCay. :)
