DD and I have a (fairly severely in my case) medically restricted diet. Has anyone been hassled about (or not been hassled about) declaring special allergen food that might be considered "gel-like"? What about ice packs?
I found the TSA website sort of unclear, and I'd like to know just how firm the ground I'm standing on is in case there's an issue at the airport. It looks like a bag of frozen veg may be the best way to deal with the ice issue, but I don't want to get there and be told that DD's dinner can't get on the plane with us because the cheese sauce is gel-like.
