My DH has a business trip scheduled to London and Orleans, France, from the middle of October to the beginning of November. I have persuaded him to take three days and visit DLP probably around October 25-28. I am completely lost as to how to get from London to Orleans and then onto DLP. Can we take a train from London to Paris and then to Orleans? And then can we take a train from Orleans to DLP or do we have to return to Paris? Really can't afford to fly so a train or ferry will have to suffice. I would even consider renting a car if this is the best method.
I could also use some help with hotels. I have visited the DLP website and found it to be extremely slow. Any suggestions as to where to stay? I would prefer one of the Disney hotels (moderate if possible).
Also, what kind of weather can we expect in late October? I don't mind the cold as long as I know I have packed accordingly. What about crowds and will three days be enough?
I would greatly appreciate any tips or information you can give me. Thanks in advance!
