First timer thread?

I swear at one point there was a thread that had suggestions of items DVC owners should bring but I cant find it now. We are renting points from a Dismember next week (studio at SSR) for our first DVC stay.

My main concern is coffee....is it provided? Any other items I will need?

There will be a starter pack (basically 1 pot) of coffee. You should pack some coffee and flat bottom Mr. Coffee basket type filters, if you'll be doing laundry during your stay you need to bring some detergent. I find putting some powdered detergent and coffee in plastic jars (like the plastic jars from peanut butter or Dole fruits) works well, assuming it is checked luggage and not carry-on. Trying to get some of those thing through security in a carry on can be a little time consuming, depending upon the airport.
