Fall 2008 PIs

I got it. They must have sent it to all alumni.

The wording made it sound like, to me anyway, that it was for this Spring.

It said "currently recruiting" as opposed to "will be recruiting".

They also said to send your resume into Casting Marketing which is totally off process from the typical way to apply for a professional internship.

"Currently recruiting" may be debatable, but because the message came from Casting Marketing instead of Professional Recruiting and because the instructions to apply were off process, I'm pretty confident that they are trying to find people for the Spring.

That's what I thought... but I wasn't sure, since they weren't really specific. Anyway, thanks for answering the question (and confirming my initial thoughts).

Hello everyone. I am new to this thread but certainly not to the disboards. Well I am currently a Spring 08 CP. I am looking to apply for the PI in hopes of getting in and starting after my CP.
I did have one question though - I am looking to apply for the wedding planning PI as I someday would love to work in disney wedding planning. So does anyone know of when this PI might be posted? (I thought I remeber seeing it there in January last year but I wasnt sure exactly when) Does anyone have any information on this at all?

Do you post on the WDWmagic boards as well? I think I saw you there as well. Anyway, the internships will for the most part be posted by Jan. 15th (I've heard) but my recruiter said they will all be up by February for sure. I did the wedding PI in Fall '05 so if you have any questions, I love talking about it! Feel free to Facebook me!

Has anyone else applied for the summer PIs?? If you have.. have you heard anything? How long do they usually take? Patience is not one of my strongest personality trait They said the applications close off in March. Do they start contacting people AFTER the deadline?

In past years that was full legnth, not a summer only internship. Maybe thats why they took it down. It was put up with the wrong dates. Let us know what you find out!

Yea it was posted as a sumer internship.. I prefer a fall or summer and fall internship but I saw that and didnt want to pass up the opportunity. And I have emailed-- I will let you guys know what they respond.

It's like being a secret shopper in the parks. But be forewarned, you must be comfortable "playing the part of a guest". Now that's quite a job, ha.

Just wanted let everyone know that I think all internships are up!!!! It went up from 19 internships yesteday in florida to 149!!

I'm dying to know what everyone is going to apply for! I've known forever I'm going for the Operations and F&B MI. But I can't decide on a 3rd one. I'm leaning towards MK Event Operations since that is my dream job!
What about everyone else? Let the nervousness start!

I appplied for all the ones that I qualified since I have not done a CP and Im finishing my sophmore year. So its like 15. I know they probably wont call me for anything so I applied for all of them. lol I know I'm crazy
