Hi, I'm the one who bought the bag I posted pictures a few pages back. I have looked it over a lot and I'm almost 100% sure it's real. Everything was wrapped how Dooney wraps their bags, the lining, the leather and zipper are all how Dooney bags are supposed to be. The only thing different is the material which is the same material used on the balloon bags. I have no idea where or when they were selling them when the seller I purchased it from got it.
I took the pictures with my iphone 4 and can take some with a camera if you want to see better pictures, but it would be tomorrow before I could take them and post them-still takes me a few minutes to post pictures.
Rachel
I'd love to see more pictures.
I definitely trust Rachel to be able to spot a fake. She has plenty of experience with Disney Dooney bags. So if she says it's real, I'm sure it's real too.
I don't know if it's D&B or Disney to blame, but I'd say the roll out of these bags has been less than smooth at times.
Of course we all know about the heart dangle fiasco.
The DL55 wallet was originally listed with all the other bags in that collection way back in August, but it didn't actually make it into stores until October, and it's still not available online.
They also had a DL55 version of the Collette bag listed on the website at one point, but apparently people who ordered it actually received the old style tote instead. So did that style never make it into production, or is it still to come? Who knows?
Maybe Rachel lucked out and got a sample, or maybe that style will eventually show up online, in stores, or both. Either way I wouldn't worry about it being a fake.

Forgot to mention, while in the MK, they now have their 40th anniversary patterns out in shopping bags (huge reusable one), photo albums and other merchandise.
This pattern is similar to the DL55 pattern and I would imagine they would try to use this for an anniversary Dooney. I would likely purchase a bag or tote with this pattern since it is my "home" park...(I live in jersey so it's my park in the sense that it's east)
I say all this because the Lucy doesn't look anything like a 40th anni pattern, it just looks like another style of the sketch #2.
That's the anniversary print on a laptop bag. DH looked at it and said he doesn't think it would translate well into a bag but I reminded him of the DL55 line. He's skeptical.
That would make an awesome bag!!!!!!!!!! If only they would be there in 2 weeks when I arrive...
I sure wish they would make that small messenger bag in another print. While I love the Disneyland 55th print, I have never been there, so I wouldn't feel right carrying it. But that bag looks like the perfect size for me.
