Last trip to WDW was last December when we came for two weeks and bought APs for that trip. This trip was added in when we found airfares too good to pass up, especially since our APs were still good.</font>

We slept in until about 8am and then got ready to catch a bus to MK in order to ride the Monorail to the Poly for breakfast at Kona Cafe. It took little time and we really liked how they had renovated the former Coral Isle Cafe. We had thought that it used to look like a fancy Denny's but now it looks great! The Tonga Toast is still wonderful. We each had the Tonga Toast and shared a Lilikoi Juice and Kona Delight. Our total bill was under $25 before tip.

From the Poly we rode the Monorail back around to the MK. We entered around eleven and did some window shopping on Main Street. We headed to Pooh where of course the line was long and the FastPass time was 220pm-320pm. Since we were going to a DIS Meet at 3pm that wouldn't work for us. We headed toward Pirates but picked up a FastPass at Jungle Cruise on the way. After riding Pirates (Disneyland's is much better) we relaxed a bit until time for our Fast Pass. The Jungle Cruise at WDW is much better than Disneyland's.

Today it was very overcast, warm and humid so we decided to try a DoleWhip. The pineapple one was broken so we decided to skip it. Before heading to the Wilderness Lodge for Teri's DIS Meet we checked out Buzz's FastPass and the times were not convenient so we rode Tomorrowland Transit Authority. While we were about board it broke down for 5-10 minutes but we waited. Afterwards we raced over to Mike Fink Keelboats. I had never ridden this ride because at Disneyland it is only open during peak times. We managed to catch the very last one just before they closed it due to gusts out on the water. It was a nice ride. I enjoyed it much more than the paddlewheel boats.

By now it was approaching two p.m. and the meet was at 3pm so we decided to head on over to Wilderness Lodge. We caught the boat and were there in no time. The ride over reminded us of James Bond movies with all of the watermice racing behind us. We ran into Teri and her family around 230pm but split up. Roger and I went out and sat outside and enjoyed the view. Around 3pm we went back in and found Teri and Eeyore'sTail (Matt). Matt had to leave to go work in Fantasyland and unfortunately we didn't get his photo before he left. Soon NancyIL showed up and a bit later Dan Murphy! We chatted inside a bit and then headed out by the pool bar and got sodas, etc. and sat enjoying the view and chatting. The conversation ranged from Digital Cameras (Roger and Dan) to adoption (Teri and Dan) to the DIS (everyone but Roger).

Around 530pm we split up. Dan and Teri drove Nancy to Downtown Disney (Teri's DH and DS and DD had left earlier for DisneyQuest) while Roger and I caught the boat back to the MK. We went in and rode the train and did Buzz Lightyear before heading to the Contemporary for dinner. Our plan was to have our 8pm dinner, watch the fireworks from there and then return back to the MK for the 10pm MSEP.

We checked in around 745pm and asked how long it would be to wait for a window table. We were told 25-30 minutes and decided to wait. I think the hostess was surprised that we were willing. The fireworks came during our appetizers. They seemed to be more over Space Mtn than over the castle. We shared California Roll and flat bread and then also shared the Ahi Tuna entree. Our waiter had told the chef to make our tuna light on the spice and if the chef did then we would hate to taste it full strength. For dessert I had the pumpkin creme brulee which was tasty and Roger had a cheesecake which was just okay. I had wine and he had water. Our bill before tip was about $75. We did not really care too much for this restaurant. It was too noisy and while to view of the fireworks was nice we could just as easily go out on the observation deck. The meal was probably our least favorite meal.

We finished about 940pm and walked briskly back to the MK to catch the MSEP. Unfortunately it had begun to rain and as we entered the park we found hoards of people exiting. Although we would miss the MSEP this trip it turned out to be great that everyone was leaving. We headed to Fantasyland and walked right onto Snow White. Next was Pooh. Pooh had a 25 minute actual wait (I think the posted wait was 45minutes) and we enjoyed bouncing along with Tigger. The park was closing at 11pm, which allowed us just enough time for me to ride Dumbo! I thought I was going to have to skip it this trip since we decided not to do early entry at the MK.

We walked on out to the bus and actually were able to get a seat. We were able to sit on most buses from CSR except for the MK ones. We got off at stop 3 and turned in.

A DIS meet at Disney, how neat! :)

We had Tonga toast at the Kona cafe too. It was scrumptious. :D

Thanks for sharing your trip with us, Donna.
