I took the kids to see Inside Out today. I admit, seeing the preview, my expectations were pretty low. But friends saw it and said it was fabulous. It was. I loved the whole thing. It was Aria's first movie in a theatre and she did really, really well. Much better than my middle daughter, who somehow slid into the seat while it was folded up. I thought we'd need the jaws of life to get her out. The fact that we were watching High School Musical 3 made the experience that much more painful. Anyway, the movie is really good. The perfect mix of fun for kids and laughs for parents. Tears, too. I won't give anything away, but at one point my son turned to my oldest daughter and said, "I bet mommy's crying right now." And I was.

Going to be at Beach Club villas week before Christmas. All renovations should be completed by then, correct?
1st stay there hopefully not the last.
Thanks
Steve
Also saw Inside Out, don't think it's a little kids movie, very good, but adults will get much more out of it.
Loving our stay at Beach Club Villas - so close to Epcot, I have forgotten! (5 years is too long!)
Its just too hot... really for me, its too hot! Went down to Hurricane Hannah's for a burger and a Sunken Treasure. Asked the one bartender if he could make me one, and he said, "no" (which is fine) but the other bartender overheard and said, sure, no problem, then he quietly and discreetly told my bartender how to put it together - I just loved that! And yes, I walked my burger and Treasure back to my room!
Our first half of our stay was at WL, CL - and I have to tell you those beds are heads and toes above any bed I've slept in at Disney - seriously, it was soft AND firm - firm enough that dh didn't move when I rolled over (nor when I tried to shake him when he was snoring - the bed didn't move) and yet, it didn't feel firm, nor soft... it was a "JUST RIGHT" bed!! And I miss it here at Beach Club - so if that's what they are doing in refurbing the rooms - then I say - hurry up and get the beds in! It will be so worth it!
Maybe try calling and talking to a CM. You could try a deluxe studio at BCV. They have that available for your dates (and I think it may be a little cheaper than the standard BC room).Maybe someone can help me out here...Since the 2016 rates released today I went to go book online for my honeymoon April 11-21. However it already says for standard rooms at BC "This room type is unavailable for the dates, party size or offer selected." Are the standard room really already all booked? I understand Disney is a popular place but to not have a single standard room available 10 months away seems a bit odd. Are we simply out of luck if we want a standard room?
My aunt is at the BC and checked in on Saturday. She texted me yesterday and said it is VERY hot. And she usually likes the heat. They usually go in July and have never complained before.
I know several of us here are staying on a magical deal in mid-late August. I got an email about a dessert party they're hosting on the 19th in Epcot. I'm thinking of signing up for it. Anyone else interested?
That was our experience last July. My husband actually got heat exhaustion and he works outside for a living. We live in SC and the whole area has been going through a massive heat wave for the past two weeks. By mid week this week we're supposed to have normal temps around 100 and heat indexes up to 115 (and we're on the coast with ocean breezes!) Tell your aunt to be sure to get electrolytes as well as water. We always use Nuun tablets, and they're fantastic!
