Disney Wish Maiden Voyage - News & Live Checkins

We had dinner in Arendelle. It was cute. I think the timing of dinner is still being worked on as the show was done well before we got to order desert. Food was good. Wasn’t blown away but it was definitely good. I’ll write a full trip report when we get home but here’s some pics.

For the main dining rooms - they also had lines for Palo/Enchante reservations and Hyperspace Lounge reservations.

We did not want to share a table so we always put in a request for our own. It’s never guaranteed but you can visit the dining changes spot and ask again and they can sometimes accommodate you. We already were so nothing needed to be done. As others have said though the tables are VERY close either way, but we still prefer it so we don’t feel like we have to have long conversations every night.

We were in 1923 tonight and I’d say the spacing was maybe a foot? About as wide as another chair would be. The waiters were squeezing through more than I’ve ever seen before on the other ships.
You could do Palo at Luna? I asked when we boarded and they said we had to go up to Deck 12 by Palo to try to get reservations. We are on a waitlist for any night or any brunch. I heard later that even the waitlist is closed now.

We were at Marvel and the tables are very close together. They took us (2 of us) to our table and there was a group of about 8 at a 10 top that was already there and there weren’t seats together. The waiter took us back up front and they reassigned our table. This was news to us because when we were on the Magic a couple weeks ago in the Med, they told us that seating had to be done only 1 family to a table, so I guess I just assumed it would be that way for the Wish.

Also, we are in an inside stateroom and there is only 1 small closet and 2 small drawers that are bedside. Much smaller than the other ships. Also, the bathroom is much smaller.

Question for someone on the MV: when on the upper decks can you actually see into the Wish Tower suite? I’m wondering what it’s privacy is like.

Yeah I hope it’s $93 for the whole week, because that’s too much otherwise!

Previously it had been reported as $184 for a 3 night (someone asked on a preview cruise) so I think its more than likely that price is just for 1 day.

Can you swing by and take a photo of the photo book cover :)

Yes - just woke up since we went to bed late but I’ll be going by at some point! :)

Did you have to wait in line to speak with the dining team or can you still message them through the app?

When I got in line at Luna and during the wait the chat was not open yet. I was also trying to chat with guest services but it kept erroring out and pushing me to the back of the line. After I was done in Luna I forgot about it tbh so I’m not sure uf it would have eventually worked after 2pm or not. I was still like 73rd in line (I had started at 52 fwiw).

I understand it’s much bigger then the rest of the ships but $93 per day???? We paid $245 on the fantasy for two people for 7 days.

Yep, the couple in front of me had one person run up and get it for our Nassau day and that’s what the receipt said. There is length of cruise too but it was sold out by the time they got there so I’m not sure on price.

Yes, there was a separate line and team for it on the right side of the venue. Availability seemed good though Enchante went first and was gone by the time my husband was up. We didn’t bring proper clothing so we weren’t trying for that anyway thankfully! What time did you swing by Palo..? Concierge of course can do this in their lounge with their hosts.

A lot of people assumed it seems but no… the table next to us had two couples that were seated together for sure.

Are you able yo share a pic of the closest…? That seems way way too small! We have a room for three (just two of us) and we each have 6 hangers and one side of the wardrobe with tall shelves and the safe in the middle. Then the drawers and shelves at the vanity too. The drawers over there are essentially useless to us; they’re tiny. The nightstands are sooooo wee too. I miss an easy shelf closer to the door for the stuff I grab on the way out and wish the stand were bigger but otherwise we’re doing ok.

The small shelves on the bathroom are sufficient but they are so high…! I’m not sure how a kid would reach most of them & our toiletry bags kind of engulf the rails. We could take everything out but I can just imagine hitting weather and having stuff fall five feet to the floor off them! The rails are only like an inch or two high or something. I need to find our tape measure….

All the curtains have been pulled the times I’ve been by, I’ll keep checking!

Definitely not. The person in front of me had a receipt and they were talking about It being for the Nassau day.

I should also add, I had a friend who was on the 7/6 preview and he got a Rainforest pass. I was told that they regretted that decision since there wasn't enough time to actually use it.

The Freezer room in the Rainforest area wasn't working at the time either. At least the rainforest is BIG this time and has lots of nice extras.

The freezer room isn’t as cold as I thought it might be, but it was on when we went through during open house. We also opted to not get a pass…. Too much to see in too little time. Plus we couldn’t be sure how crowded it would be… the spaces seem much larger so I assume that means a lot more passes sold. Time will tell…!

I am really interested in the evening adult entertainment. Are they offering the adult only game shows (ie Match Your Mate and such) and entertainment? If so, where are they holding it? I’m not much of a drinker so as nice as all the bars and lounges look I’m hoping they still have more for the adults.

Yes, same type lineup as on the Dream. Most of that is being held in Luna. The Bayou is another venue they’re using for the adult stuff.

If anyone is curious here is the schedule for the day so far. Sounds like they may have closed the pools due to weather so maybe they will add some..?
