Although it hasn’t been reported on any of the blogs I go on, I received a 3rd party ticket seller email saying select Disney World Ticket Prices have gone up.

Just did some searching around the threads and found one on the TPAS boards talking about the ticket prices going up HERE. Looks like they have, in fact, increased.

Same. I can't figure out why they haven't brought the characters like Mickey who are in complete suits back at this point, I would think risk would be pretty low.
The last couple trips I’ve noticed a major shortage of photopass photographers around all the parks where they normally would be, I wonder if that is part of the hold up on getting character meet and greets back. Not enough photopass staff?

I can speak to this! Last night I was on DVC Rental Store because we rented points with them for this trip so we were gonna add our tickets through them too. We had always planned to buy them today because last night at midnight is pay day for us.

DVC Rental Store has a calendar that shows insividual pricing each day. Yesterday our dates the price on each day ranged from $142 to $146 (depending on the day) and today it changed from a range of $150-155.

BUT when I select multi day tickets, the price is the same as yesterday (I wrote it down and screenshotted too).

This makes me so curious. Obviously Disney has some data that leads them to raise prices on single day but not on multi-day. I wonder what the goal is? Is it just more money? Or trying to change the ratio of single vs multi-day visitors? Which do they value more? Really wish I could have been in that meeting where this was discussed. But maybe I'm just a certain kind of nerd.

I also received two emails - one from the third-party seller and another mailing I'm on that directed me to the seller's website (advertising to get them before the old-priced tickets run out). The latter email I got said the increase was 4-8% (I think it depended on the length of the ticket)

I saw a similar thread on Touring Plans when I was Googling with people saying their cart prices had changed too :(

Yes I saw this somewhere from a third party Disney ticket seller as well but haven’t seen any official
announcement...also got a FB post offering “forever stamps” at significantly lower prices not sure whether this is a scam or hack....

Disney asking guests their overall experience between Disney Enchantment & Happily Ever After

Some guests who visited the resort recently are getting a survey asking about their experience with the nighttime shows.

Some of the questions in the survey ask guests to rate their overall experience with “Disney Enchantment” compared to their experience with “Happily Ever After.” A similar question is asked about the nighttime fireworks show “Wishes”, which ran at Magic Kingdom from 2003 to 2017. Guests are able to say if their experience with “Disney Enchantment” was “Better”, “About the Same”, or “Worse” than the other shows.

The survey goes on to ask guests what aspects of “Disney Enchantment” they found positive or negative.

Boy do I wish they would ask me!

Oh man. In 2019 I bought 5, 7-day base tickets (3 adult, 2 child) for $1990.96. The last 2 years we bought our Disney tickets using points from our Disney Chase Visa card, so didn’t really pay attention much to ticket prices and I don’t easily have a price comparison. That same week in September this year (3rd week, same Sat start day) would now cost $2661.07. That’s almost a $700 difference.

Lin-Manuel Miranda Approached Disney CEO Bob Chapek About Adding ‘Encanto’ Ride to Disney Parks

In a wide-ranging interview with The Wrap, Lin-Manuel Miranda revealed that he has approached Disney CEO Bob Chapek with the idea of adding an Encanto-themed attraction to the Disney Parks. In the interview, Miranda specifically calls out The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure at the Disneyland Resort as the type of ride he pictures when thinking about Encanto in the theme parks. Miranda said that he told Chapek “I know there’s a world in which this casita lives in a theme park and we get to actually walk through in real life”.

Miranda says that he and Chapek didn’t talk specifics and that the world in which the characters from Encanto live in is still “early days”.

I had purchased 2-day Park Hopper tickets for this weekend. I just checked out of curiosity, and the price on them went up ~$15 each.

So I don’t think it’s correct that 2 day stayed the same.
