Has anyone been on a recent Fantasy Cruise that did not have Star Wars/Marvel/Halloween or Christmas specialty menu/rotation? I have been looking at navigators on Disney Cruise Blog trying to figure out the sequence for casual, semi-formal and formal nights without much success. Can some one let me know the dress order and order of rotational second nights menus and pirate night for western caribbean cruise? Thanks!

Were you by any chance on the 5/12 sailing? If so, what was the rotation order for that cruise?

I’m confused... think I just saw a navigator from May 12th that had semi formal on 1st day at sea the Formal on night 2nd day at sea and pirates was night 5. I don’t want to keep switching my Palo night.mDonthey switch it up for each cruise?

Typically formal night is night 2. With semi-formal being night 6. There could be various reasons why they might switch up the schedule on any given cruise. Possibly, there were entertainment CMs not available for the shows/events planned for the "correct" nights. Weather could affect things (yes, even indoor things). You never know for sure until you're on the cruise.

Now, it's also possible that Disney is going to change things up. Most mass market lines have formal night on the first sea day. Maybe Disney wants to be different.

The nights can be switched up depending on a variety of things. That's why I'll do a rotation request - if I choose to - as something like "Animator's Palate on Pirate Night" or "Royal Court/Palace" (or Triton's or Lumiere's) on the first night" or something that you know 1/3 of the ship will be assigned rather than a rotation which might change.

If you're wanting to do Palo on Pirate Night, you'll be able to know what night Pirate Night is when you can book (it will show on your activities page...and worst-case look under Onboard Fun for "Pirate League" rather than Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique), so that's easily done.

In general, this is the dining rotation for the Fantasy:
Western A/Eastern A/Eastern B/Eastern C:
RAERAER
AERAERA
ERAERAE
Night 1 - Rotation menu /Crush if in AP
Night 2 - Rotation menu [formal night] /Crush if in AP
Night 3 - Rotation menu /Crush if in AP
Night 4 - Pirate menu
Night 5 - Prince & Princess menu / Animation Magic if in AP
Night 6 - Captain's Gala [semiformal night] / Animation Magic if in AP
Night 7 - See You Real Soon menu / Animation Magic if in AP

Western B [w/ Costa Maya]/Western C [w/ Jamaica]:
RAERAAE
AERAEER
ERAERRA

Night 1 - Rotation menu /Crush if in AP
Night 2 - Rotation menu [formal night] /Crush if in AP
Night 3 - Rotation menu /Crush if in AP
Night 4 - Prince & Princess menu / Animation Magic if in AP
Night 5 - Pirate menu
Night 6 - Captain's Gala [semiformal night] / Animation Magic if in AP
Night 7 - See You Real Soon menu / Animation Magic if in AP

Now, of course, this will vary with the Star Wars cruises. And some adjustments may be made on individual cruises for various reason.

The 5/19 was an Eastern though, wasn't it?

Yes, it was. As noted above, sometimes the western is the same, sometimes not. Your reservation info on the DCL site should tell you which night is pirate night, though, so you should be able to extrapolate from that.

I know you've posted this elsewhere in the past. Thanks for reposting. I'm on the next Western C and unless they change pirate night, we'll most certainly have 1231223

If my cruise goes to Jamaica then I am Western C, is that true?

The last 3 western sailings have showed Captains Gala menu night 4.

They no longer print the evening's menu on the Navigators (it's only found on the app) so I believe some of the cruise blog posts are in error.

This was the dining schedule on the June 9th sailing:
1231223 (RAERAAE, AERAEER, ERAERRA)
Night 1 - Port Canaveral | Cruise Casual | Rotation menu
Night 2 - At Sea | Formal | Rotation menu
Night 3 - Cozumel | Cruise Casual | Rotation menu
Night 4 - Grand Cayman | Cruise Casual | Prince & Princess menu
Night 5 - Jamaica | Cruise Casual or Pirate | Pirate menu
Night 6 - At Sea | Semi Formal | Captain's Gala menu
Night 7 - Castaway Cay | Cruise Casual | See You Real Soon menu

The Captain's Gala was definitely on Night 6 because I had lobster! :)

I agree the disneycruiselineblog posts are in error. I was on the May 26th Western Caribbean and the Captain's Gala menu was on night 6. The Prince and Princess was on night 4.
