I hope everyone finds us over here as the last thread got closed super quickly. So I can not add the link to my post. If you see anyone please invite them to the new thread. I will try to send PM's to people to invite them to the new thread.

I feel so confused and frustrated. My SIL has been talking to everyone and of course everyone has an opinion as to how to treat Hunter. Tonight she sent me a bunch of links to Childrens hospital at Boston. I'm sure that they have a good program, but I think that staying close to home, having lots of support and having a good surgeon are all important too. How do I know if I'm making the best decision for my son?

's. I think all of us second guess any decisions we make regarding our kids. The only advice I have is to ask the doctors lots of questions. The more you ask the more you'll know and feel comfortable with.

I second this, Deb. You're going to get plenty of solicited and unsolicited advice, and family means well (most of the time), but when it comes down to it, only you and Chris will figure out what's best for your dear son! :hug:

Hi all!

I hope everyone headed to Disney has magical trips (even if Mother Nature is presenting a few bumps)! :wizard:

We're home again for a few weeks, before the many Christmas celebrations begin. Lots to do...we are the only house on the street with Thanksgiving decorations still out, but I'm trying not to stress this holiday season. Easier said than done, but as I head into my third trimester, I need to learn how to relax!

I comletely agree with this..You guys are making the best decision you can for Hunter--dont let anyone make you second guess.

Deb, I am sorry that you are being second-guessed, but, unfortunately, that seems to be human nature.

I think that all of your reasons are excellent ones. You are making the best decision for your son, because your love for your son would allow nothing but the best. Keep your mind open and learn all that you can, but feel confident in your decisions. Please don't let someone else make you feel that you aren't doing enough or doing the right thing.

ETA: If I had read ahead, I would have seen that you already received this same advice many times.

Well said, Elin. You and Chris know what is best. However, if things are confusing you, then that might warrant some further investigation into other options. Know that I'm praying for you all! :hug:
