*sigh* somewhat went with this this broker because they seemed fast based of others experience. I emailed this afternoon to inquire and didn't get a response. Since its Friday now im thinking I will be waiting til Monday

Is the seller's online notary experience different from the buyer's? We signed online and sent it back-easy peasy. The sellers need an appointment for online? This would explain why our sellers opted out of the online signing. I was irritated, but I guess doing it themselves was probably faster.

We were going to wait to wire the funds after the sellers signed the closing documents but instead we decided to just get the money sent over. So hopefully there won't be any delays once they eventually get things signed. This section of the wait has been way worse than waiting for ROFR, in my opinion. I just want to book my January trip.

I'm checking my email roughly every 15 seconds at this point!! LOL. So excited. It's been a dream of mine to join DVC since the mid 90's when a friend's parent let us spend our spring break at OKW with their points. I've asked them to expedite since the beginning, as I had a previous contract where the seller backed out, but it appears to be following a fairly regular timeline. Hoping to book my target room for a March 2025 trip (although unsure if we might move it at the 7mo mark due to BLT refurb). Checking room category availability daily

Yes, I got the points loaded via chat the next day after my account was active. Only to find out my dates for December are not available anymore!! LOL. Still super excited to be officially DVC Members! Can't wait for our first stay!

Maybe I'll get lucky with the waitlist.
