:cheer2: WELCOME ANNA and Lainie !!! :cheer2:

I'd write more but I am so tired from my DD's 11th B-day bash. Giving birth was a whole lot easier than throwing a party.

Nite all.............

Happy Birthday to your daughter!!! We are about to do the same ritual here on what will be a very hot day. I do feel like this is the next 'event' to get through in order to be closer to our vacation. Rest up, you've earned it! :thumbsup2

Yes we'll be wearing tie-dye. We always wear tie-dye. Except at dinner.
I have about 12 shirts to make before we cruise. Unfortunately my five weeks of leeway to get them made has just been reduced to three weeks. What am I doing on the disboards when I've got so much to do!!!???

Glad to see you back on the thread Anna! If we see you at the dis-meet I could spend a few hours talking about TiVo. :happytv:

My 2 boys are right at the ages of 2 of the boys in your group.

If you like tie-dye there's a thread on the main Cruise Forum for how to make a Mickey Head tie-dye.

Hello, well, it's another beautiful sun shiney day in Syracuse, NY. :cool1: I am still tired from working the Saturday night shift at the restaurant. Trivia had a good crowd, but Karaoke was standing room only. Oh, to have two Saturdays in a row off. Pure Heaven!!! :Pinkbounc Who do I contact to get a door magnet with my name on it and is it possible to order the Nautical Flags? So if at all possible, I would love to hear from you. Thanks. Off the the basement for the laundry.

Some info I need to share regarding the Palo private dining room meals that we have booked:

I was asked by a few people about making a change in the time for one or two of the meals, so I sent an email to the Group Specialist asking if it was possibe to change the time. I received this reply:

They may not seat you until they arrive. I don't know
what the policy is. You may want to ask Palo when you get on the ship.
Perhaps they can amend your time to make it more convenient.

I'm posting this here in the thread because EVERYONE who has signed up for one of these meals needs to know that you may possibly be holding up the entire party from being seated if you're late to Palo. Hopefully they wouldn't do that; I hope they'll seat us, in case anyone runs a little late. It is, afterall, vacation.

I tried my best to get "better" reservations times, and I wasn't given the exact times I requested, and there's nothing I can do about that. I apologise for any problems or inconveniences this may cause, but it's out of my control.

Ed: Since I'll no longer be at the dinner on Tuesday night I've asked the Group Specialist to list you as the contact for that meal. I didn't think you'd mind since you're also the contact for the Thursday brunch.

Terry: No problem here. :cheer2: I appreciate all that you did to get this thing together. Thank you. :goodvibes

Anna: :welcome: back to posting on the thread. :cheer2: I will be looking for the family with the tie-dye shirts. :3dglasses I wen't to a festival yesterday and bought myself 2 tie-dye cotton dresses. They look so comfortable. :)

Andy: Finally tried on my pirate costume, nice to know another family will be in the full pirate gear. :thumbsup2 How many people do we need to have Grills to ourselves?

Moria: I will be looking for you on the morning of the 19th. At least I know what your DD looks like. :3dglasses

Happy 11th Birthday Allison

I have been meaning to ask this for awhile but keep forgetting. I know alot of people here have taken the Disney cruises before, but I was wondering will everyone still go to the Castaway Club meet too? I wasnt sure how many folks here are Castaway Club members. See everyone in a few weeks!

Hi Susan:

As long as the Castaway Club party doesn't coincide with anything else that we want to do, we'll probably attend. :)

Susan: We haven't been able to make a Castaway Club member meet yet. Last time it was on the day we got married. We hope to make this one. :goodvibes

We will try and go to the CC Party. We finally made it to the last one.

RobinMarie.........thanks for the B-day thoughts. The party started at the pool at 11 AM, back to our house at 5:30 PM, all of the guests (except the one spending the night) left around 10:30 PM. At least it wasn't as hot as they are prediciting for the next few days here. So have fun planning at your house.

I know what you mean when you say it is the last even to get through until the cruise. I still have my best friend and family here until next weekend. Then there is a break. This summer is flying.

Tina....thanks for the B-day picture for Alli. I' ll show it to her when the family gets back from the baseball game. My DH won 4 Club level seats to an Orioles game with a trip to the broadcasting booth. Jim Palmer is one of the broadcasters who was a famous pitcher from the old days here in MD. I told him to take someone who would appreciate this afternoon (I'm a big soccer fan, not so hot on baseball anymore). So he, the kids, and his mom who is a big fan are there this afternoon. At least I'm in AC. :lmao: I'm enjoying my quiet time here in the house.

I get to make door signs and do some sewing for a very special person today, and hopefully for our family too. :teeth:

Good afternoon everyone.................

Terry.........I'm sure it hasn't been said enough, but thank you so much for everything you have done for all of us to make this cruise an even more magical one!!!!

Hazel and I attended the CC reception during our January 2005 cruise and had a nice time. We had planned to go in May, but I was still feeling bad, and since my throat was so sore I decided to stay in the cabin and rest up for dinner. We are "planning" on attending the CC reception next month.

Shirley, I know what you mean about a quiet house. Hazel just took Angelina to her niece's house so she could do touch ups on Angelina's hair. I'm sitting here working on a project myself so that I can get it out in the mail this week!!!

Shirley, I forgot to mention this. I was looking through my 2004 cruise tablet and I came across a note I wrote on one of the pages.

"Dizzyworld--celebrating Ron's 50th Birthday and our 25th Wedding Anniversary on the cruise." Also, your kids were 10 and 9, and that was your 3rd Disney Cruise.

A little blast from the past!!!

Anna: :welcome:

I will make sure that I introduce myself to you at the dis meet. Can I request 5 magnets". What a great idea!!

Karen
Elaine
Doreen
Marty
Daniel

I will gladly play for them.

Karen :beach: (this is what I plan on doing August 20th @ CC after our parasailing adventure!!!)
