See when I see the bottom border it looks heavy for some reason. I don't know how to better explain it.
Val overall I like the shirt, but I don't know something is nt hitting on all cylinders with me. I think it is the bottom. I wonder if there is a way to incorperate it with the rest. If not, all good, I still like it, just not that crazy about the bottom that's all.
Here's one place I'm going to have to disagree with Alan. The bottom border makes the shirt for me!
I like the border too. I tried the design with and without and like it with best. However I know what Alan is saying, there seems to be a lack of balance with the color and design. I have been thinking about it since I read the note and think I might have a suggestion on how to fix it. I have sent Becky a note and crude - messy image of what I propose, outlining the mickey heads, surboards and flowers in black. Also, adding a black line to separate the border from the rest. Bob said black gives it a cartoon like look -- a good thing, like an homage to animation. He also noted that outlining in black balances the density of color between the Mickey leis and the bottom border with its dark leaves. I've also asked if they could darken or bold the text more.
Now I hope they agree and not just tell me to go away.
