That was the point of the first 2 episodes. Each episode was based on a different sitcom as well.Seems really weird. Kind of like they're trapped in a 60s B&W sitcom.
It's based on the Marvel storyline House of M.

I'm looking forward to watching it this evening.
I have to wait till later tonight before I can check it out but I'm excited for it.
Edit: Just watched it. I didn't read House of M, but I know the general premise behind it and I really enjoyed the episodes. I'm really excited to see how it continues.
Having watched it, I really don't think it has anything to do with House of M - I'm not sure where people are getting that. Yes, that's a story where Wanda's powers were used to alter reality, but what's going on here seems to be very different. Unless things really take a curveball, I just don't see it. Also, House of M was terrible, so it's probably better that they steer clear anyway.
The references are really old. How many people have seen Bewitched? I watched it as a kid in syndication, but that was back in the 80s.

Bewitched ran on Nick at Nite all through the 90s. I'm 37 and I'm sure I've seen every episode over that course of time. They used to do silly segways during commercial breaks making fun of the 2 Darrens thing and all that.
