WOW!! When I think about it....with the amount of people WDW employs, I'm surprised we've not heard more stories like this.
I don't know how it is now, but when I worked at WDW in 2003, I did not have to take a drug test or have a background check done. They looked at my application, asked me a few questions, and hired me on the spot. Everything was done in about 2 hours - with most of that time spent watching a video & then sitting in a waiting lounge with about 70-80 other people.
I will tell you this much... with the pitiful amount WDW pays their hourly cast members, they can't be too choosy about who they get for employees. I think they start about $.10 - $.15 above minimum wage. Try to support yourself or a family on that!!
