1) I did another Backyard wedding last weekend for neighbor across the street.
2) Social Spacing was good and a crowd about 20.
3) Started with the "Anyone Who Objects . . ."
4) About four friends and a couple of relatives ALL yelled, "Wait A Minute!"
5) Bride took 2-3 steps backward, maybe in shock.
6) One of the group said, "May We Have A Moment?"
7) They all huddled and loudly mumbled.
8) After a short period that seemed like an hour, the spokes-lady stepped forward.
9) She said, "We guess it is OK to go ahead. We can discuss with them later."
NOTE1:
I accepted a $15 honorarium to dry clean my vestment stole.
Other than that, I did accept an invitation to join the BBQ "reception".
I did not even ask for compensation of my donated Deutsch champagne.
This is ONLY champagne my wife likes.
I also brought a bottle for bride/groom.
NOTE2:
As I have previously mentioned, since retirement, I do few ceremonies.
I do weddings or vow renewals for personal friends and a few DIZ friends.
