ADRs & Cancellations?

Hi all,

I just looked up on the Disney website and the San Angel Inn is available for ADRs at a couple of times in the evening we'll be in Epcot (30th June).

What is their policy on cancellations? And amendments? Are there timelines and/or penalties?

Thank you :goodvibes:

No cancellation policy. Show up or don't show up, no penalty. It's considered a point of etiquette to cancel the reservation if you don't intend to keep it.

Not sure what you mean by amendments. You can't officially change a party size on a WDW restaurant reservation without cancelling and rebooking the reservation. Should your party size change, you can show up with a different party size, but depending on the size of the discrepancy there is a possibility (usually not a great one) that you will be waiting longer or even denied admittance.

Thank you Nala that's good to know as we may only have a couple of days notice to cancel (depending if my sister decides to come) :goodvibes:

When you book the reservation, include your sister. If she doesn't come and you want to keep the reservation, just go without her and say one person couldn't make it. Showing up down one person will likely not affect your reservation.

It's easier to be down one person than up one person.

Do they call you if you don't show up for a reservation?

No. Just make sure you don't do that at any place that had a credit card hold because you will be charged a penalty, or at any pay in advance locations, because you will pay the full amount since it was pre-paid.

But, people should really cancel as soon as they know they aren't going to make it, even if it is that day. Especially during free dining, people are often looking for a TS place to eat, so it really is rude not to cancel as soon as you know you won't be using it.
