*Once upon a Christmastime at Christmas*
Hey Howdy Hey! And welcome to my December trip report! I'm not going to neglect this TR like I did my last one. I'm currently on Christmas break, so I have lots of time to sit around and basically do nothing.
So! Here's where the trip started...Rewind to 8 months ago...
Eli (my boyfriend) and I were wrapping up our junior year of college when we started talking about Disney World. We went last October, and we were dying to go back. Eli was very jealous because I was going on a Disney Cruise for my birthday that fall and he wanted to be part of the Disney magic too. So we started brainstorming, and calculating, and planning.
Long story short, when we both got our first paycheck from our summer jobs, we paid the deposit and we were ready!!
When we went in October, it was very short planning. This time, we made ADR's 180 days in advance, we had everything planned out to a T. (Eli did most of the planning for this trip, picking restaurants, the hotel, and the fastpasses).
Well, before I get ahead of myself (like I typically do) let's do some introductions!
Me and my other boyfriend (hehe)
I'm Emily, I'm a 21 year old senior in college, studying Business Admin. and I have no clue what I'm going to do after I graduate (eek). Eli and I have been together for over 2 years and have an absolute blast when we go to Disney. Eli, bless him, will wait in line to meet Princesses because he knows I love them. (dawww). I've been to Disney too many times to count. We used to go multiple times a year when I was growing up because my Nana is a DVC member. We traded Disney World for cruises because it was hard for my nana to get around the parks.
I'm obsessed with Disney Princesses and Disney food. I mean, unhealthy obsession. I am that adult who will wait in line to meet Rapunzel without a child, because I love her. You will find me in Fantasyland or World Showcase. And I could ride Expedition Everest, ToT, and Haunted Mansion all day long if I could.
Eli is also a senior in college and had NEVER ever ever been to Disney World before he met me. I'm so glad I got to introduce him to the Disney magic.
He loves getting right in the center of planning our trips. He loves all of the trill rides the parks have to offer, and you will find him in Hollywood Studios or in line at World Showcase for beer. He loves Expedition Everest, ToT, Rock n Rollercoaster, and Space Mountain.
As you can see, me and Eli went on this trip just the two of us. Which, some people ask why? Well....Disney is my happy place and I've introduced that magic to Eli. We have so much fun just the two of us going! We did get asked a few times "why would you go without kids?" My answer is because it's fun, there isn't that much stress, you can play a lot by ear.
This trip we did a whopping 76 attractions! That counts riding things multiple times and shows. But yeah, this was a very very busy, exhausting trip. But it was soooo much fun!
We first stayed at the Courtyard in Lake Buena Vista the night of December 13th
Then we stayed at our real Disney hotel, Coronado Springs from December 14th-21st. We did get the FREE Disney Dining plan!
I'm so excited to tell y'all about this amazing trip!! I hope y'all are ready for tons of pictures, tweets, laughs, some tears, and tons of food!
