How busy is Disney Springs on Black Friday?

Holiday weekends at DS have always been extremely busy. I would make dinner reservations- otherwise your options will likely be limited to waiting in line at walk-up quickserve places. If you're driving to DS and capacity limitations are still in place, you'll need to arrive early to get in...

Fly into Key West for Miami cruise?

Rules are very fluid right now. And what's not permitted now might be allowed in a few months.

    The Vaccine Discussion Thread

Agreed. Most articles I've read about the vaccines indicate that there won't be distribution to the general public until Q3 at best (maaaaaybe one or two get in at late Q2). I could see cruises going out maybe starting Q2 (yes, CDC guidelines could let them start sooner, but with the amount of...

Should I book a "just in case" HS park pass?

Park reservations can be changed the day of, so long as you haven't tapped into a park yet. As long as AK has availablity, you can book an HS day and switch to AK that morning if you want to. HS/MK tend to hit capacity- AK and Epcot don't always hit capacity (but it's impossible to say what will...

    Droid Experience

If you are delayed for whatever reason, it's no big deal. You may have to wait a little longer, but that's it.

"specialty" us sailings under return to sailing

Without Canadian ports, there's no Alaska season, unless the PVSA is suspended. I agree that the season, if it happens at all, won't be till late 2021. And since the normal Alaska cruise season ends in September, I'm thinking 2021 will end up being a bust for large cruise ships.

    Disney Wedding Photo Links!!

In an IGN interview, Disney said they are currently not offering GE as a wedding location. https://www.ign.com/articles/disney-avatar-wedding-pandora-fairy-tale-weddings-show I did find a fun video of a GE proposal a couple years ago: https://insidethemagic.net/2020/03/star-wars-proposal-ne1/

Small Wedding & Reception... is it possible?

I'm with Ginamarie. Looking at the website pricing, it would be very challenging to stay under $10k. Still worth talking to a Disney wedding planner, but I would also look at alternatives such as doing the ceremony and/or reception at the Swan and Dolphin (the property is run by Marriott, so...

“Grace period” for ROTR boarding groups?

I'd cancel and try again. I think the official grace period is 15 minutes after the hour is up, and there's been exceptions made for people with overlapping ADRs. Haven't heard of anyone getting in so late as you will be.

    VIP experiences available?

As for photos, people might be going through Disney Fine Art Photography. However, they have a notice up on their website that they are not scheduling sessions at this time due to Covid.

    Linking Previously Used Magic Bands

To add on to what Fangorn said, you can also swap pucks out as a way to replace the battery. For example, if an LE band has a red puck, you can buy a cheap plain red band and swap the pucks out.

    Trip in April, questions

To add on about the SW races- runDisney cancelled the Jan/Feb races (marathon and Princess weekends) about four months in advance. If rD will need to cancel SW, I'm guessing the announcement will come in late Dec/early Jan. I suspect it will cancel, as I don't see social distancing requirements...

If you were to skip 1 park with a 38" toddler which would it be

If you're a DL regular, I'd skip HS as there's a lot of overlap between HS/DL. Doubly so if your trip dates concides with an Epcot festival. Another thought is to book a day at each park, with MK being on the first day. That way, if you don't see everything you want at MK, you can change one of...

How do you know if wisdom teeth really need to be removed

Got mine pulled while on a break from college. At least 2 were angled and about to become impacted (but wasn't causing me any pain at the time). Ended up getting all 4 pulled as it was easier to get everything done at the same time rather than going back later. I remember a couple of days being...

WDW COVID-19 Operational Changes- Reservation System-Rope Drop Procedures

With the ROTR boarding group process change, it probably won't be as crowded at rope drop since folks don't have to tap in before 10am. And to reiterate what others have already said- please stay in your car at the toll booth area. If you did get out, you're dealing with multiple lanes of...

Park Reservations... Friends & Family planning

I'd just book reservations as people get their tickets. June is pretty far out- it's likely you'll get what you need.

    The Vaccine Discussion Thread

Moderna's vaccine will need to only be kept at -20C/-4F. Still cold, but it would be in the range that most commercial freezers can handle. I believe they are still on track to apply for an EUA before the end of the year. The more vaccine options that get out there, the better off we'll be.

    The Vaccine Discussion Thread

I read that Pfizer designed coolers for these vaccines. Manufacturers of things like dry ice are ramping up production for the expected spike in demand. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out.
