November 2016 Car Rental Rate Watch

For anyone looking at these going in late October to early November like us, try using an incognito window to check the prices. I was able to book Oct 27-Nov 9 with Alamo using the "Save with Alamo" code #7014926 and Coupon AD3868JST ($25 off) to get the Drive Happy Deal for $366 total for the 14 days. I'm thinking its not to bad for a week out and have read this deal sometimes allows you to pick up anything in the aisle.
 
Looks like rates are falling for our nine day rental starting on 11/6. We were able to go up from a mid size to a full for about the same price.
 
I only need 2-day now but Alamo through Costco was the cheapest. November 10th for 2 nights. They allow a free 2nd driver too!

Check your Alamo rates today. Mine dropped to $238 today using these same codes.

No problem. I was just too lazy to type it when I originally quoted myself. It looks like I was talking to myself. The rates are back up so it must have been a good day yesterday!
 
Check your rates with Alamo today.

I was paying $238 for full-size with codes AD3868JST & 7014926.

I was able to get a minivan for just $30 more, $268. It is usually at least $150 more than a full-size if not more.

I figured it was worth the extra room, etc.
 
I just checked my dates again through dollar and the city special and it went down about $15 dollars. Not much but hoping it continues to go down a little more. This was for early November picking up next week.

My Alamo went down $25 for Nov 4-11
 
I do not have a Costco membership. Do either of these codes: AD3868JST or 7014926, require their membership or are they basic Alamo codes?
