Got my email today about registration beginning tomorrow for Epcot moonlight magic. This is the first MM I am eligible to go to and I don't want to mess this up. Will I get another email tomorrow at 11 telling me registration is open? Do I just go to dvc website? Call member services? Any detailed description of the process would be greatly appreciated! Fingers crossed. If I can get this it could make for an epic Flower and Garden trip!

This is the only email you will receive. The email has a button that says "Reserve Your Spot!" which will take you to the registration site. You will want to click that prior to 11 am eastern tomorrow. You will need your DVC Member ID to complete the registration process.

Got mine today as well! Just became a DVC member in Aug and this will be our first DVC stay. Apricate the info & any tips shared.

This is my first time with a qualifying reservation too. Is this one where you sign in before 11:00 a.m. ET and they randomly put you in a que at 11:00?

Make sure to join before 11 AM. You'll be assigned a random position in the queue. If you join after 11 AM you will be put at the end of the queue. Some people sign in using multiple devices, and use the lowest number assigned.
Make sure to have your DVC ID handy, there'll be a form to fill out with this info

I was trying to figure out how this will all work out
since I play bingo with a group of friends at a VFW on tues mornings

How much "before" 11 can you join? If you click the link from today's email will it automatically take you to a sign in page?

If you click the link now, you will see the following text on the page:
When registration opens, this page will refresh and you will be placed in our virtual queue in random order, regardless of how early you joined this page. Those who enter after booking begins will be placed in numerical order.

I have a cash stay, at a non-DVC Disney World resort, booked through the Walt Disney World website, for the time of the March 1 Epcot Moonlight Magic. I did not receive an email today, so I called member services and was told by the member services rep that cash stays like mine do not qualify for early registration.

But in the past, Lauren De La Cruz posted:
"To be eligible for the first round of registration, you have to be staying at a Disney-owned and operated resort. It does not have to be a stay that was booked with DVC points. Cash stays, even at non-DVC Disney resorts, count as well."

Does anyone know for certain which of these two is right?

I also have a cash stay and no e-mail. I checked the Moonlight Magic page again, and it says this: "When staying using their Membership with Vacation Points, Reservation Points or cash, Members who booked a qualifying Resort reservation by the cutoff date will have access to early or general event registration and can register themselves and up to the number of individuals on their Resort reservation(s)."

I took that to mean cash was fine. I guess it is possible that the primacy of the sentence is on 'using their membership with cash', but I don't know what that means. I'm going to try tomorrow anyway and hope for the best.

I spent a lot of time on the phone this afternoon trying to get a straight answer from DVC Member Services. Finally I reached a woman who knew what was going on and explained it to me:

THEY CHANGED THEIR POLICY FOR 2024. From now on, cash stays at non-DVC Resorts do not get early registration for Moonlight Magic. Only non-DVC Resort stays booked FOR POINTS will qualify.

So those of us who booked a cash stay based on their old policy are out of luck. Nice of them to let us know.

I believe anytime before 11, don't remember but I think clicking the link now should take you to the log in page .

I saw some posts on here that say make sure to join the queue before 11 but in my email it says registration starts in 2 hrs some minutes and seconds I can t go any farther did I miss something. Has anyone gotten any farther.

Well, it says when registration opens (which I take to be 11AM), this page will refresh and change to the page we need to enter any info they need. I don't think we can go beyond this page until 11. But it's not really clear......!

How did it go for everyone?

I had 4 devices. The one went right in and I was done registering at 8:01. And then another started in the 200s and was ready by 8:03. The other 2 were in the 6000s and 9000s respectively. So pretty painless and stress free for me.
