What is the best tasting beer? 🍺 I don't really drink it but I do like to make beer batter recipes so I would love to know Disboarders, what are your favorites?

It is a bit like asking if you think Coke or Pepsi tastes better..............LOL. Everyone has their own preferences.
Some of us go a little deeper than that to Shasta Cola, Sam's American Choice and RC. LOL.
But very true. I don't drink enough beer to say, but I had a Blood Moon Wheat Ale while on vacation that I really liked. Budweiser was my go to brand for decades.
My choice of adult beverage usually is some type of wine. Never got into hard liquor.

A stout works best for a beer batter in my opinion. I've used Guinness with success....it's malty, highly carbonated for a light fry....plus, it's one of my favorite beers. A lot of people think it's a heavy beer, but I find that it's an easy beer to drink. But we mostly drink wine when we drink. When I do have a beer it's probably a Guinness draught or an ice cold corona light (in a bottle only) with two lime wedges.

I can drink one Guinness, but my second must be a mix with a lighter beer (Black and Tan). It's nice, but very filling to me. I agree that Guiness makes a nice beer batter.

Also, if you have never had it Guinness pie is a heck of a hearty meal.

I am not really a beer drinker, but I will partake of the brew every now and then. Especially seasonal stuff like Samuel Adams "Jack O" (pumpkin spice). Samuel Adams "Wicked Easy" (formerly known as Sam Adams 76) is also pretty good for me (gotta watch out for "Wicked Double", that stuff will hit pretty hard).

Guinness is good, but it takes a certain mood.

I saw Bell's Two Hearted mentioned too... not bad. The light version is actually remarkably satisfying for having such a low alcohol content.

Goose Island makes some "beer hug" stuff that will absolutely knock the heck out of you.
