We did two, spread over about 3 weeks, and though we enjoyed, we thought it was too much. The second one wasn’t quite as fun. We’re going to stick with one going forward.

Ive never gone twice but lots of people do. I think there is enough to do to spread over 2 party nights. I was considering it but the prices are too high.

So there wouldnt even be a regular WOC before the party starts for normal day guests?

Definitely not too much!! It lets you focus on different parts of the party. It's almost impossible to see and do everything in one night. Plus, you don't want to feel rushed.

We went 3 times in 2014 over the course of our trip when it was over in Disneyland. I just looked on my email and tickets were so much cheaper back then. We did all three parties for less than the cost of one party now. It was really nice because we got to see and do everything multiple times.

Now we try to shoot for doing 2 parties when we go because we take shorter, more frequent trips. I think we're at a 4-day/5-night trip in September and are hoping to get tickets to two nights (Thursday and Sunday night).

Ticket-Buying Question! I read through the thread from last year to get an idea, but would love some confirmation...

My sister has agreed to be my proxy since I have a work training shortly after tickets open- Can we both join the queue at the same time from the same (my) Disney account but on separate devices? I know we would have separate places in line.

Last year's thread seemed to have people with multiple browsers/devices with multiple queues, so it seems like it should be okay. My sister does a LOT of concerts, and says some platforms won't allow an account to join a queue twice... but she's not familair with Disney so I thought I should double-check so that we can make alternative plans if needed!

No. There would probably be way too much light for world of color during the day anyways.

I would avoid DCA from 3pm to 6pm on those days. It gets so busy during that time frame.

I’m new to this whole waiting in a queue thing. How exactly does it work? Do I have to sit and stare at whatever device I’m on for hours?

It gives you an estimate. Usually starts at “more than an hour” and then goes to numbers once it’s less than an hour. It isn’t consistent though—example, 49 minutes can jump to 36 minutes in 5 minutes rather than 13. Once your turn comes up, you have 10 minutes to get in. If you miss that window, you have to start over. So you don’t have to continually stare, but keep checking.

The queue is pretty random. We’ve had times where we got in in 20 minutes and times where it took 5-6 hours.

Thank you! It’s all I have on my schedule for 6/29🤣

June 29th was last years date, we dont have a sale date yet. But be on the lookout for one any day (I'd predict sometime this week we'll get the announcement).
Ticket sale dates are up on the page!

Save the date! Starting June 27 (no earlier than 9:00 AM, Pacific Time), Magic Key holders have the opportunity to purchase from a select amount of pre-sale tickets ahead of the general public.

General admission tickets go on sale June 29, 2023 and start at $134 per Guest (ages 3+).

I was hoping I could take the day off work when they went on sale. Luckily, I'm doing WFH that day and then in the late afternoon have to head to the airport. Hoping/praying for a smooth purchase that morning!

I've done 3 even last year. That was maybe a little much, the third night was a total "stop and smell the roses" thing. I actually ate during the third party, that is completely unheard of. :rotfl2: But I am a character person and had a lot of catching up to do, I definitely don't regret it.

I got lots of stuff done that I would have missed out on. Finally met Megara after all those years (her line was already closed first party, she only came out late when we had already left the area), caught Merlin who wasn't out the first night, and my friends swear I positively melted when I got the chance to chat with Scarlet Witch for a while and she actually remembered even my name from last time I visited. I had a Wizard Duel with Madame Mim and became her new best friend. For me that was heaven.

Definitely planning on at least 2 again this year.

Hi there!! We might happen to be in town (at Disneyland) the day tickets go on sale Does anyone know if it's only online or would we be able to get them at a ticket booth for one of the dates? Anyone ever bought in person not on the day of?

I'm pretty sure it's strictly online, but I've never attempted at the ticket booths.

Actually, I'm not even sure if the ticket booths are still widely/consistently open since reservations were implemented. When we were there last time I don't recall seeing anyone in line or the windows open. But, I also wasn't paying too close of attention.
