It's funny you say this because my daughter says the exact same thing! That cookie was her favorite cookie EVER. They just happened to have brought it back a couple weeks ago when we were there for her birthday and I think she ate 3 of them that week. lol (first week of March) I actually have one tucked away in my freezer for her that she forgot when she went back to school! I saw that there is a pumpkin spice cupcake there this week. I wonder if they are bringing back some of the seasonal things on rotation at Karamell Kuche?? Keep an eye on the mobile app every now and again. That's how we found out that the gingerbread cookie was there two weeks ago.

We also tried the Wookie Cookie for the first time on that trip. It is HUGE. I'm a big sweet eater and decided I would have to split it with someone next time. It's kind of like an upscale oatmeal cream pie. Or maybe 3 of them put together!

Can't be any bigger than the Gideon's cookies! I eat half a one when I get them.

I tried twice to get the Pumpkin Spice cupcake in December, they were out both times! Hopefully it is also back for good!

A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King to Temporarily Reduce Showtimes Beginning April 25 at Animal Kingdom

According to Disney, “A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King” will have one less showtime starting April 25th at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The show, which is currently being performed eight times a day, will drop down to seven showtimes starting April 25th. The only exception to that rule is on Saturdays, which will retain the eight showtimes.

The schedule then bumps back up to eight showtimes per day starting May 21st.

Is that good? It sounds good, but then I realize I have no baseline for comparison.
Hard to say, when I google how Luca did, you get reports on how many minutes streamed. Not households.

Is it good?
According to Google and Statista, there are about 130 million Disney+ subscribers, about 40% in the US. That is 52 million subscribers.
So... 2.5 million households in opening weekend means almost 5% of the subscribers in the US saw it. If those are on average a 4-person household, about 10 million people saw the movie.

When you look at pre covid, Toy Story 4 did about $150 million in box office sales in 2019 in the opening weekend. Let's go by $15 per ticket, also about 10 million people who saw Toy Story 4 in opening weekend.

Good is relative, I guess?

Here's my list:
Gideon's (of course)
Jack-Jack's Num Num cookie
Carrot Cake cookie
Gingerbread salted caramel cookie (Karamell Kuche)
Salted caramel pretzel cookie (Karamell Kuche)
Wookie cookie
Triple Chocolate Chip cookie (Kringla)
50th Celebration Ice Cream cookie sandwich (Dino Bites)
Peanut Butter cookie pie (Main St. Confectionary)
Smore's cookie (AoA)
Magic cookie bar (Roaring Fork)

(and that's just the cookie list!) Anything I'm missing?

My guess is that they are using that time to practice with the new tumble monkeys and aerial bird. So if your trip is after May 21st, you might get the full show!

So just got an email from Disney Chase Visa that card holders will now receive a 10% discount at many resort/park restaurants this is very nice but still a little annoying for many AP holders who spent a lot of money for the same resort and restaurant discounts that are now being offered free to non AP pass holders. As it is the resort discounts offered to AP pass holders are very limited in value as well as availability in addition to the fact that the park hopper that is included with the AP can’t even be used until after 2:00 pm....just seems like less and less reason to purchase an AP ...maybe that is Disney’s intent...I don’t know....APs just don’t seem to have the value they once had.

That's not a new perk. They've had the 10% off at select locations for at least as long as I've had the card. The list is quite limited, and outdated since ESPN Club is still on it.
