Sunshine Flyer Experiences

Thanks for all the details. I hope to use this when we go next (maybe summer maybe not lol). Anyway I’m sure they will iron out their issues. But I will keep an eye on it. Where does the bus drop off and pick up at MCO?
 
We only used departing. So they picked up right in front of Bay Lake and dropped us off in Terminal B by the ticket counters.
 
Update: I heard back. Their hours are between 7:00 AM -10:00 PM.

It looks like this might not be an option for early flights. Our flight home leaves at 6:00 AM so would need a pick up around 3:00 AM. The first option starts at 7:00 AM for pick-ups. I sent them an email to confirm that so will post when I hear back.

I’m using next Saturday (12th), hoping to hear more experiences. I was a little apprehensive about booking so shortly after they started. So fingers crossed things go well!!
 
Okay, I already booked our arrival at MCO with them coming down. I hesitated as looking at the website the earliest time was 7:00am, our flight departs at 9:20. So is this supposed to be your flight time or the window time of pickup? If flight time would you choose the window of 8:00-9:00 or 9:00-10:00am? I am glad that it worked out for you as I really wanted to try out this new method over Mears since DME is no longer a choice.

The time you select is supposed to be the closest to your flight time.

Yes, I wrote to them as I found the website a little confusing. You choose your flight time.

I honestly couldn’t tell you since I never used magical express. We drove all the other times we have been. I do know it was right where we loaded onto mears to get to Disney.

Sunshine Flyer pickup and drop off are on the same level of terminal B but at opposite ends of the long hallway. If you used DME in the past, go in the opposite level of Terminal B, Level 1.
 
Is the bus similar to DME where luggage is in the bottom? How many stops do they make? Recent Mears reviews have been great 2-4 stops, taking about an hour from checkin going to resorts. On the way back people have pickup times 3 hrs+15/20 mins (slightly more than DME) for domestic flights.

Is there feedback yet about getting from MCO to WDW hotels? How long is the wait after landing to depart? Or maybe do they guarantee a departure every X amount of time?

We may be going back in March for a short trip and our first post-DME. We're thinking an Uber would still be cheaper than a rental (even for 2 days), but would consider this if it's timely.

I don't think we'll use anything other than Uber on way back. Our flight is somewhat early and we won't be checking a bag, so no need to get there hours and hours ahead of time (in the DME model).
 
Been trying to contact Sunshine Flyer for two days now to modify my March reservation. The phone line always says to leave a message. My email hasn’t been answered. When I try to modify online, it says my reservation is blocked for editing. I’m sure we will get this worked out, but as of right now, my experience with Mears Connect was a lot better.

Did you email reservations AT sunshineflyer.com? I had a good experience emailing with them to make a change, but that was back in December.

Yep. Two days ago, still no reply. Also no reply to two phone messages.
