It’s gorgeous. We left after the sun went down and it reminded me of the float out from Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean. Peaceful; you can hear the frogs. The ship has to go very slow to make the right turns so we had zero engine noise on our balcony. It was amazing. Once we got to the Gulf- you could definitely tell we had engines running! What is the beginning of the cruise like sailing out to the ocean? We plan to sail from NOLA next spring.
Never. We got every reservation we asked for and they only got a little “Annoyed” if we were more than 30 minutes late for our drop off ressie. Were the kids clubs full?
- CD was Peter from Switzerlandwho was the CD? How many guests? What shows were there? Does Daisy delights still have those awesome chocolate chip cookies?
- CD was Peter from Switzerland
- Had a little over 1,000 reserved, but only about 750 made it on board after COVID screening
- Daisy’s is still amazing! We also ordered cookies warmed up from room service after a rainy day and they were SO GOOD!
Did you have a different show every night? Was there a reduction in activities?
Hi! It was 250 people who had someone in their party that tested positive. So, that could be 15 or 50 families/staterooms, not necessarily 250 positive tests.Wow, 250 guests tested positive at the port? That seems like a really high number.
SUCH a good time. I go for relaxation and it was a bullseye. We were sad about GC cancellation but time off is hard to get so we rolled with it! (Ended up missing a winter storm so ‘yay’!) It was 82 degrees in MexicoDid you have a good time? We cancelled the New Orleans cruise for later this month because
of probability of not going to Grand Cayman.
Did you like New Orleans? have never been so we may take a weekend trip this Spring so if
any highlights let me know. Thx
How were the shows onboard?
Yes they were available, you just had to reserve a time with Guest Services. Same with Shuffleboard. They gave you and controlled the paddles through the reservations process. The reservations were free. Were ping pong and basketball still not available? I feel like I read elsewhere the if you ask for the paddles, they will let you use them.
We had a similar number filtered out on our Magic sailing in January, but my understanding is it was the number on the passenger manifest from shoreside who didn't make it. So, this also included anyone who had "called in sick" in the last couple of days.Had a little over 1,000 reserved, but only about 750 made it on board after COVID screening
