I'm really bummed I can't use any cards for my taxes this week. Grrrr! Both staples are out of VGCs. But also I'm finding EVERY store is out of like ALL schools supplies. I had to go to 3 stores to find PENCILS! I couldn't find composition books last night. I joked it's like the apocalypse!

You should have gotten a bill by mail if you don’t have an EZpass.

All-electronic (cashless) tolling is permanently in effect statewide. There’s no stopping at toll booths, and tolls are paid by using an E-ZPass or by Video Tolling. This system provides convenience for motorists, less engine idling for better fuel efficiency and reduced emissions, decreased congestion and increased safety.

Does this mean w/ rentals you'll have to use theirs? I've debated buying one to use on vacas and drive to my sister/thru Ohio.

I told our girls that we probably won’t be going back to Disney for a very long time. We will visit the other Disney parks once, but never will we do a WDW week long vacation again.
I feel the same. We have DLR tix from canceled trip and hope to do that next year but otherwise I feel like this is too much.
that actually doesnt sound too bad...
source: from someone who beta tested the $700 per hour VIP tour...
I'd rather do the VIP tour for that money.

I had P2 apply for CSP on Sunday through my referral link. The approval was instant. How long does it take for the referral bonus to show up in my account?

I am always concerned about tech missing something that should be picked up.

It took a few weeks for mine to show up. Someone on this board had an exact idea of when they usually post (I think they said it was usually a Tuesday morning?) So, there's no concern that it hasn't shown yet. It probably will once your next statement closes, unless it is due to happen in the next few days.

Thanks, I have a couple week's before my next statement is issued. Will be on the lookout then.

I had been on Rugaro, Maverick and Steel Vengeance before the Gemini took me out, LOL. I was able to rally to do GateKeeper before we left (the first time I've done that). But I didn't get to do Magnum, Raptor, Valraven, or Blue Streak. Or my son's fav Power Tower. I felt bad, but my 12yo and 16yo went on all those w/o me, so they at least got the fun! And I've learned I need a lot more time between rides.

I'm in my 3rd week (2nd with students) and I'm still not ready for this, LOL. I've honest forgotten (after 23 years) how to do all this in person. I'm out of my element (even though we returned to the classroom in Jan). Everyone is in person now. So no more streaming to 1/2 my students at home. Back to allowing them to work together, etc. I'm sure I'll be back in my groove soon, but it is very weird!

My soon to be daughter in law went back to teaching in person also, but she's a 1st grade teacher and she also worked summer school this past summer. Both her and my son really enjoyed work from home while it lasted, as did younger DD. Older DD hated it and sneaked into her bldg to work in her office rather than stay home.

And older grand started kindergarten, rode the bus, was in school for the whole school day without a nap and was elated on getting home, having loved the whole experience! Hope this continues! Secretly, I think she was also very happy to be cut loose from her younger sister and to enjoy the experience by herself. Younger grand is a handful of energy and opinions and bossy as all getout. She returned to her bilingual preschool and will 'graduate' from that next May, then do kindergarten in 2022.

Question - DH was approved for a CIU using a support link from my CIP. This CIP has just had the AF show up. Do I need to keep the card for the support UR's to come through? I have 2 other CIC's and was planning on cancelling the CIP as I don't really have a use for it. I realize now I should have made it easy on myself and just sent a support link from one of my CIC's....

Interesting statement email from Sunpass. I have one of those that they sold at convenience stores in Florida for use in Florida prior to E-Zpass acceptance in Florida. I have no idea where the actual pass is. Lost it long ago, could be stuck in the seat of a car I no longer have, but it still works by tag when I'm in Florida, so I keep a little balance on it - usually $25.

In August I drove through Baltimore and used the Fort McHenry Tunnel both ways going and coming back.

I also have a Delaware E-Zpass which I've used for more than 10 years. Last week my Delaware statement came and it had charged me for some local tolls. I noticed that my Baltimore tunnel toll was not on it, but figured it would show soon.

The tolls were charged to my Sunpass balance. There was enough money on the pass to take care of it. It's not on auto replenish - has to be replenished as required. The Delaware one has a credit card attached and is on automatic, so there would have been no problem with payment.

So, sooner or later I'll get back to Florida. Are E-Zpass and Sunpass interchangeable down there now? I know some roads took E-Zpass on my last visit but at that time, I thought there were still some highways on Sunpass only?

I did have the Delaware pass on the windshield. My guess is it's not 'transponding' maybe dead battery or whatever makes them work, and I need a new transponder. Just weird that they shopped around and found my Florida balance instead of my Delaware balance.
As of Memorial Day, all toll roads in FL accept all EZ-Pass transponders everywhere. I'm going down next month and will be bringing my Illinois IPass. I believe it is this month but may be next month. EZPass compatible transponders can be used for the toll lanes in MN and new MNPass transponders can be used everywhere EZPass is accepted.

I haven't rented a car in FLA in a few years, but plan to next month. What is the easiest way for me to deal with tolls these days for just one trip?

I received mine when the statement closed. If you want to make sure everything was done correctly you can SM Chase and they’ll tell you that the points are pending.

The points should show up before your payment is due.

Visitor Toll Pass https://visitortollpass.com/ if you are renting at MCO from one of the ten companies that have cars on site. If you are not, I would use a transponder you already have, failing that, get a MNPass. They are available online or in person in Golden Valley or Roseville.

Thanks! I will look over the visitor toll pass, looks pretty simple. I have no other need for a MNPass LOL, so hopefully the other option is easier

Curious if anyone has been on lately, or is booked for a cruise soon? If you've been on one since cruising began again, I'd love to know your experience! We are booked for January, and I'm getting a little concerned about it now with everything going on.

The rate is unfortunately non-refundable, although it's my understanding that if you test positive you will get credit to use for another cruise. Also, I have a 10% Carnival offer on my CSP, so I was thinking to pay off the rest of the cruise a month early to get $50 back.
