Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

hey there I’m checking in tomorrow and have a few questions.
It’s been two years since I’ve been the pop, pre-Covid in a nutshell the changes I will experience are thank you: Housekeeping only comes every other day, pool showers closed off. Mobile ordering has been implemented, but we can still just walk in and order.

I did read through the thread and for some reason I couldn’t find if USB ports are in the room. I am 99% sure they were there last time. My son is also in the US and took my adapters with (we are flying in from Germany). Also please confirm that rooms are still well-stocked with coffee, sugar and real cream not that powder crap. Or at least liquid creamer. We plan on hitting a grocery store on the way in from the airport I would prefer not to have to buy creamer due to the heat.

What are the current pool time? What time do they close? Thanks!
They just opened walk in orders but I found it easier to order from the room and by the time I got there it was ready. Yes they had 2 usb ports next to the bed. The coffee supplies are in the room but I think there was just a couple of the discs... they were really nice in giving me more. I am sorry I dont remember about the creamer. I bought ours at Walmart. Walmart is open late and decently close so it doesnt take away from your park time. They have lots of tourist/ gift shop stuff so my kids love to go there.

There are usb ports at nearly every outlet, especially those next to the beds. I know the bedside table next to the door has a couple ports and bedside table closest to the bathroom has them as well. I'm guessing the middle table has them too. I'm not 100% on whether the outlets on by the dresser have usb ports, but they might as well.

As for coffee, I think we had enough for 4 cups, but you can call or use the app to get more (or ask housekeeping if you see them) and there is no issue getting as much as you need. The creamer is Coffeemate type liquid single serving cups. You can request more of that as well (and any other coffee related supply).

The coffee pods the machines in your room at Pop use are not normally available in grocery stores so I wouldn't plan on purchasing any there. You will need to request more from guest services but my experience is that they bring them quickly. I've asked for as many as 10 at a time which was great. The challenge was they also brought that much other stuff with it even though I told them I didn't need cream, sugar, etc. They will supply plenty.

There are MANY USB ports in the room. You won't have any problems finding them. (I will update the first posts with this information as I realized it's missing)

Some views of Everything Pop Dining since the changeover.

Took the pictures at a non-peak time-it is SWAMPED most of the day.

Next time you go be sure to thank the Cast for their hard work in bringing the normal Food Court experience back!

Especially the CPs who are mostly on the night shift-they are representing Colleges from Coast to Coast and working so hard and always with a smile! :)

Have a pool day planned for a Sunday. Does anyone know around what time the entertainment crew comes out to the pool?

We’ll be checking in on Halloween. Three generations along with 3 granddaughters. Does anybody know if Pop does anything special for Halloween? Boo Bash tickets were out of the question.

I'm not sure whether Pop did anything in 2020, but here is a link showing what resorts did in 2019: https://herewiththeears.com/what-ev...r-halloween/#pop-century-halloween-activities

I think the most fun thing to do at WDW for Halloween is to go walk around the Fort Wilderness campground and see all the decorations the campers display. Some of them go over the top and it's fantastic. Enjoy whatever you do.

Hey everyone!
Hello and I hope all is well with you.
I have a few questions that maybe someone can help me out with:)
We are coming down 9/3 - 911.
We have a breakfast RSVP for CRT @ 8:25. The MK is supposed to open @ 9:00. My goal is to be at the MK gate by 8:00. My wife is a photographer and is doing part my daughter's senior pics and we figure this would be a good way to get in the MK without anyone else really around.

1. Does anyone know how early before your RSVP will they let you in the park?
2. Do we know when the monorail and/or boats start running from the TTC to MK?
3. Do you think the busses from Pop will be able to get us to MK by 8:00? I don't mind to drive or take an UBER or LYFT.

Thanks in advance....I know the answers to these may be in the thread somewhere but I do appreciate the help!

Have a good day!

Unfortunately right now there isn't a way to enter the MK before the gates open to everyone. Dining reservations are not granted early access to the park as the gates open to all between 8:00 and 8:15. Other guests will be held in the hub and you will be allowed to walk to your dining reservation. I wish it were different so that you could get the shots you wish but it's not happening right now. I'm not sure if you might be able to capture some pics with the side of the castle behind your daughter as I'm not sure how early dining reservations are accessing CRT.

Your best opportunity to arrive there as early as possible is to take the bus from Pop. It is recommended you be at the Pop bus stop by 7:30 at the latest for a 9:00 park opening. If it's important to be on the very first bus you may wish to arrive at the bus earlier.

Monorail and ferries are normally arriving after the initial buses.

An Uber or Lyft will not help as they will drop you at the TTC so you would need to take the monorail or ferry from the TTC. Ride shares are not allowed to drop guests at any locations other than the TTC.

Sorry, I wish the answer was different but this is the current situation.

Thank you for the response! It's all good as we will still be at the parks enjoying ourselves. I'm sure she will still get the shots she needs!
