Will back to back cruisers have to pay for the rapid covid test now that DCL has required we have to take one before boarding the second leg of the cruise. We are fully vaccinated and have uploaded our proof of vaccination cards.
DCL - AND GETTING IT IN WRITING from them.
B2B cruisers have to test between sailings.I thought from reading the safe passage website that if you are fully vaccinated and uploaded proof that you do not have to complete a rapid test. But I may have read that wrong. Or they may change the policy between now and when we actually cruise.
Hopefully none of this applies to us on the Fantasy (some think possibly they split the 7 days in to 3/4 days).
I would just call out that having it in writing will likely only help you get money back or a credit from Disney. Its unlikely to get you an exception to the process itself.
So if you show up for the 2nd leg and they require the testing they likely will just say it was a mistype/old policy and if you want to board you have to get tested. If you throw a fit I could see them removing you from the terminal area.
Anyone going soon needs to keep in mind Disney may change things for better or worse. If there is a larger change Disney likely will work with you (this is a guess).
Well I said that the policy could be updated at any time. I am glad this update was clarified. As for payment DCL seems super happy to have the on-site tested charged to our stateroom portfolio. This would be my expectation.B2B cruisers have to test between sailings.
" All Guests on back-to-back, consecutive sailings will be required to undergo a rapid PCR COVID-19 test administered by Inspire Diagnostics at the terminal after debarking the ship following their first cruise, before reboarding the ship for their second cruise."
And DIsney be like "I see you have tested positive after your first cruise with us. Please stay right here as we go into your stateroom and toss everything into these cardboard boxes for you. Have a Magical day"B2B cruisers have to test between sailings.

Is this from the DCL website or the Safe Passage website?B2B cruisers have to test between sailings.

Found it.Is this from the DCL website or the Safe Passage website?
I found it finally. Seems it’s been modified now and only unvaccinated cruisers have to be tested between b2b cruises.

Does changing ships still qualify as a B2B? Did you specifically say you were changing ships when asking?I specifically asked and was told the same on the phone this morning when going from the Fantasy to a B2B Dream.
I believe (from another thread) they changed from a modified 4 night fantasy cruise to b2b on the dreamDoes changing ships still qualify as a B2B? Did you specifically say you were changing ships when asking?

Ah! Got it.I moved my Fantasy cruise to a B2B with both cruises on the Dream instead. Sorry for the confusion.
So I won't be changing ships so not sure.
