I used to use Rolaids all the time. Actually, I probably just liked the taste more than anything. Then, about 8-10 years ago, there was a manufacturing issue and they stopped making them. Fast forward a couple of years and they'd sold the brand to someone else who did start making them again, but they weren't the same. They didn't taste the same and, in my opinion, didn't work as well for their purpose. So, Tums for me.

My point is just because they bring it back, doesn't mean it will be any good again.

Conversely, something that never went away... Pizza Hut deep dish pizza. What happened? It used to be great. Now their cheese is just grainy and the pizza is soggy. Can we have the original back again, please?

Caffeine-free regular Coke. Haven't had any for MONTHS!

Regular registers with actual cashiers. Don't like self-checkouts when you have 10+ items. They won't accept your own bags, there's always an issue, AI takes forever to accept a scanned item, sensitive weighing, then you have to wait for approval, etc. It's just overall a more frustrating experience.

Campbell's Noodles and Ground Beef Soup. It's been gone for years but my husband and I still talk about it. I've looked for a copycat recipe but none of them seem right.

Decades ago when I was a teenager, our local grocery store had a candy from the UK called Union Jack Toffee-ettes. They were kinda like M&Ms, but were a caramel center covered in chocolate with a crispy toffee shell. The new caramel M&Ms are the closest to them I've ever found, but the shell isn't as good. I can't even find evidence that these ever existed, other than my sisters remember them, too.

My cat is wishing for the "Seafood Stew" flavor of her catfood brand - it was her favorite. They have a new "Grilled Seafood" one but I don't think she likes it as much.

My cats are also missing their favorite flavor of Purina Friskies canned food..the flaked tuna and the flaked tuna and egg. Purina for some unknown reason has discontinued it. My cats don't like any of the 'grilled' flavors

Trader Joes canned dog food. They took it off the shelves months ago saying that they were trying to find another vendor - apparently they weren't happy with the quality? I've had to buy a different brand but I don't like it as well - really haven't found any brand I am really happy with.

I have her on Purina Pro Plan - seems like they've been tinkering with it. My cat though does not like tinkering.
