Thank you for your input! I think I wouldn't want people around me with their masks off so we shouldn't do the same. I'll bring some bite sized stuff we can shove up our masks if need be
No problem! Most of the time you can get away from anything that's making you uncomfortable (people without masks on). If we didn't like how closely a party was following us, we'd (nicely) just let them know to pass us. We kept some extra distance from parties in front of us at times, and took paths through the parks we knew would be less crowded. We did think it would be better compliance from what we had read beforehand, but at any point you could definitely see someone not wearing a mask properly or having it around their neck eating/drinking. And really I know that we can walk away from that, but at that point it was really us getting annoyed that people weren't following the rules for the cast members sake. I bought a Remy shoulder pet thing that you wear on your shoulder. I made a little mask for him and so many CM's said he was better at wearing masks than a lot of people.
Also, some of the lines snake out realllllllyyyyy far from where the actual entrance is. It seems like a lot more people than usual are getting in and out of line with their groups, which I think is totally understandable and fine, and I'm not sure how most people feel about it. So if you get in line and find your little one needs a break, it's easy to step away and use the bathroom/have a snack/just walk around for a minute. Since a lot of the lines are outside it's easy to rejoin your group before they enter the real queue area. The only time I think it's not okay is when you're in the real queue area and you'd have to pass everyone through the queue to rejoin, but just know that you could have that option if the line is long.
