2020 ticket sales??

Ordering tickets direct from WDW will have them right in your MDE. You would need to get a hard-ticket, or use a prior MagicBand.

Did you know that you can book resort reservations now for 2020, too?
Thank you, yes I knew we can now book resort reservations for 2020. Just thinking we may try something different and stay off property since there are no fast passes or early hours right now and those were our favorite perks. Can we use any prior Magic Bands? We have about 100 floating around our house, ha! Can I just find one for each of us and it should work with the ticket on my app?

Just got thru, took almost 2 1/2 hours. Bought passes and trying to link them now to make park reservations.

UPDATE: All passes (7 days) linked to My Disney Experience and park reservations made for mid-October trip. Good luck everyone!
Just curious, did you have an existing AP and renewed? Or were you able to buy a brand new one over the phone? I have never purchased an annual pass, and was hoping I would be able to.....

I'm not going to link it, but elsewhere someone pointed me at Undercover tourist, and they are still reporting...they have 9 Day base tickets available - for way less than Disney direct 7+2 days

That doesn't help some with 10 day requirements above - but food for thought

Thanks, that's definitely an option for my situation. Will consider it, esp. if the water parks don't get reopening news anytime soon

As long as the MB is still linked, you can still use it (or re-link it). It just needs to be for the same original user. Any MB should work for tickets; maybe not for some of the ride pics unless it's from within the past year or so.

For anyone that had a room only reservation booked already. Can you move it to a package or do you just purchase tickets separately? I booked a room in February with the sun and fun discounts. Just wondering is there a way to keep that discount and get the tickets as a package. Or do you just purchase tickets. Trying to save myself a phone call.

You can go online to order just the tickets!

I had a room only DVC reservation (points) and I was able to simply buy park tickets this morning online.

So a guest was finally able to buy his MYW 7 day ticket this morning. They sent him an email confirmation and when I try to link it to his account in my MDE, it says it's already linked or cannot be linked online. Anybody got any suggestions? 75 minutes on hold so far. {sigh}

Just got off the phone after two hours and added one person to my August trip, tickets and resort. Now it won't let me link her to my resort reservation from my family and friends list in order to make a park reservation. Just keeps giving me "There was an issue assigning one or more guest to this reservation" message.
Me too. I am on hold waiting to talk to technical support. Took me MANY attempts to get past the busy signal and even get put on hold so I am guessing that we are not the only ones having trouble making park passes after modifying a package.

You can buy tickets separately online. To make it a package, you will have to call. If I were you, I would simply buy the tickets separately. The advantage to a package is having it all refundable if you cancel by the cancellation deadline (as opposed to tickets, which are non-refundable), but might not be a concern if you are pretty sure you will definitely go to Disney again sometime as you can modify the tickets to a later date (though you may have to pay more depending on the dates you reschedule to).

They're still not selling APs, otherwise that's what we would have purchased. What you can do is buy day passes now and apply that towards the purchase of APs once they're for sale again. I did confirm this with the CM on the phone. I purchased 7 base park tickets on the call, he supplied the confirmation number, and I immediately added it to my account in MDE; it was instantly available. I then proceeded to making my park reservations for all 7 days. The worst part of the whole process was waiting on the phone, which you don't have to do; I had questions to ask prior to purchasing the tickets. You can use the MDE app and buy tickets w/out talking to anyone. I needed to ensure that if I canceled our trip in October, that I could move the tickets to another trip in 2021. My wife is very concerned about mandatory quarantines in the Fall, so we wanted to cover our bases. I hope this helps.

It should have been linked automatically when you bought it. Have you tried to make park reservations?

This seems to be a common theme--I'm have a similar issue and am also on hold. Park reservations give me the "not so fast" error because my new tickets are not showing in the MDE system even though I got an email confirmation.

I suspect that with the large volume of ticket sales today, things are jammed up and not linking in MDE properly.

The new opening hours for the parks until further notice is
AK 8-6
MK 9-7
Hollywood studios 10-8
Epcot 11-9

which makes it hard to do rope drop for hs and epcot as more people will be awake and ready to go :(

But way fewer people in the parks. :)

It's probably been answered, sorry if I missed it, but my TA said we can't add a 9th day to our tickets - 8 was all they'd let us do and that was only because we already had 8d worth. Is there a way to add a 9th day without paying full price that you guys have found? So frustrating because our flights changed and we don't leave till 7:30 at night on Sunday - would have liked to have that last day in the parks for the $20pp it would have cost.

I was able to buy October 2020 tickets this morning but also encountered the "Not So Fast" error message when trying to make the park reservations. I ended up on hold for over 90 minutes with the Technical (Internet) help line.

They got a work around to go through for me so all is well now. The problem was I also have a trip planned in February 2021 also which I had already bought tickets for and made park reservations. The system, the CM said, can't distinguish which ticket to use (my error message said I had already used up all my days available - which I had on the Feb ticket but I had just bought the October ticket that morning).

But the work around worked and I am good to go.

No. At the moment, WDW is actually only selling up to 7-day tickets, so you are already ahead of the game. You can purchase a separate 1-day ticket. I did hear that UT has some longer tickets, but you would need to buy the whole thing and save your current tickets for another trip so that might not be a viable option.

UT is selling park hoppers for 2020. Is that them being optimistic or is Disney doing that too? I need tickets for my husband for November.....I don’t want to buy hoppers that we can’t use, though.

I don't UT is selling 8 day or park hoppers yet for 2020. I tried to purchase 8 day tickets for my Dec. trip. When I clicked to buy it told me to pick a starting date (which I already did), but now only 2021 dates were available.

Glad it worked out. I have the same "Not so Fast" error--Tech help just dropped my call after 75 minutes of hold time... so guess their phones need tech support too! Ugh, can't wait for this to all be over.
