How much food do you have in your house?

Kind of a spin-off of the stockpiling thread. Curious how much food people are actually keeping in their homes now? I would say that we could probably go about a month or six weeks if necessary. Of course the snacks would be the first to go.

I have lots of pantry and freezer items to make lots of soups and casseroles. Fresh fruit and veggies we eat quick so less than a week on them.

Fully stocked freezer in the fridge, and fully stocked chest freezer in the basement. so I would guess a month to 6 weeks . Like the OP, snack foods would be the first thing to disappear here - Plenty of pantry items. So would just basically need bread, dairy and fruits/veggies. Have plenty of paper goods, and just ordered a good supply of cat food from Chewy (first time ordering from them). Just happened to need refills on all of hubby's prescription meds last week, before the panic hit, so he's set for at least 90 days. He no longer makes fun of me for buying extra when supplies on anything run low in this house, lol!

Not to be hungry, 6-8 weeks. Meal might be rice and a little meat. Normal meals, veggie, starch, meat or soup/sandwich -3 weeks.

Maybe a couple weeks, normal amount. I work in a grocery store and dh works in food delivery so we know first what shortages are coming and stock up accordingly. We know what the warehouse doesn’t have and what shipments will be short so we can buy what’s left on the shelf first.

For example I know warehouses are out of hand sanitizer so the shelves will be empty of that for a while and I know that while customers are going crazy stocking up on toilet paper regular shipments of that are still arriving. So far anyways.

Several months worth if we had to live only with food in house.
The chest freezer is filled with mostly protein and I moved most of the vegetables to the fridge freezer.
Pantry is well stocked with staples.
I'm a perimeter shopper and like to cook in bulk so the amt. of food is normal for this household.

There's a bunch of food here, mostly stuff no one wants to eat. Things like boxed mixes with cute little ribbons that were given to us as gifts, stuff that's been in the freezer for who knows how long? We could probably go for at least a couple of weeks.

We have enough for a couple of weeks for the humans. I have at least a month’s worth of food for the dog just because I got our Chewy order on Tuesday. We may be eating kibble before this is over.

3-4 weeks probably, the last week would be slim pickings, but we'd survive. Might be down to saltines and spices lol.

We have 2-3 weeks but really if you live in an area with PrimeNow, Instacart, or similar it looks like it shouldn't be much of an issue. Well selection may be an issue but they have FOOD.
