2018 Free Dining Watch Thread V3

There are 7 of us. Ideally we would have one room fd and one ro. CL won't work for us. My dh mutinied last time and the time before when we tried to have breakfast in the lounge every day. Poor man thought we were starving him! Lol!!! That last trip I decided when he us with us dxddp might be needed!

Your dh did not have enough breakfast in the lounge.... Hm. Which lounge were you in? We were at the Grand Floridian Club and Polynesian Club last year. The GF breakfast was good. The Poly wasn't as good still tolerable... though I can't remember for sure what we ate.

Anyway, here are all the villas that got disqualified from FD last year:
3-bedroom villas
Copper Creek Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows – Bungalows

Which means the following 3 will likely have free dining this year:

Saratoga Springs 2 Bedroom Villa, sleeps 8: $895/night
Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village 2 bedrm villa sleeps 9: $991/night
Beach Club Villas 2 bedroom sleep 8: $965/night

So, assuming that these also allow free dining this year, your cost (before tax) would be about:
$1000 first room with free standard dining for 7 disney adults;
Upgrade to delux dining: $40x7=$300 per day;
Second room with RO offer 25% off: $750.
Total: about $2000 per day for two 2bedrm villas and delux dining plan for 7.

Ooooooh...probably nothing but I am suddenly getting "someone ate the page" when I try to look at updating my current reservation. It was working fine all day until now.
I'm just getting anxious.

Has anyone ever booked 2 rooms separately on line to get free dining and then have them combined. Our party needs to rooms because we have several children and they need to be adjoining.

Yes last December we had three rooms with free dining and they were three separate reservations. We called later and had them linked with a request that they be near each other or connecting if possible. But they were still three reservations with each room having separate dining credits. It was a bit of a hassle trying to keep track of dining credits for each room (especially snacks!) but it all worked out in the end.
