Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Oh ya I forgot!

Well I would walk around and see what you might like then perhaps stop in lobby and let them know. It's possible they can note your reservation for next day.

If you go to touringplans.com they show where the suites are with the room finder. Most are top floor in center but also some other scattered ones.

I'd want conch to be close to Sl for cl access and nearness to boat.

Thank you, I will check that out!! Great to know! We were told when we booked we’d have access to both lounges, so we’d most likely only use RPC! We love the lobby at GF and visit every year to see the Christmas decorations! I also love the orchestra!! Next to WL, it’s my next favorite lobby at Christmas! :cloud9:

We are down to 25 DAYS!!!:goodvibes

So after so many CL trips I just had 2 back to back non cl trips.

Thanks for the great pics and for your review of both stays :).

Next stop however I have bwi lv cl split with Gf RPC . Taking my Mom and I want to spoil her since she may not be up to any/many more trips.

What an awesome split! Hope you and your mom have a great time :wizard:.

Grrr... it is posts like these that are going to convince me to book RPC again sometime soon.

I think you need to give it another try ;).

Thanks for the info about the WL. We're booked to stay over Christmas and I've just checked our dates - it also states 'club level access' I'm not sure whether I want to stay if there's construction going on but there doesn't seem to be any information anywhere. I've checked other CL availability and there's SL, Beach Club and YC. We've stayed at SL many times, never tried BC CL and although we love the YC I'm not sure about staying with the new dog policy.

Im at 34! Gonna just miss you in RPC!

Thanks for posting this! I have WL CL booked for January 14 - 20 and just looked at CL availability for those dates. Sure enough, it now says "club level access" instead of just club level. I'm going to have to seriously think about switching resorts; I don't do construction well. :-/
I was the one that started the discussion about the WL CL because I found it hard to believe the CL would be booked for two months, April and May. That is when GrumpyGal had that great information. I checked with my agent and she could not confirm the refurb but she did say Disney is in the process of changing the descriptions of the CL rooms on the website. To clarify the CL rooms are not any larger or different from the other rooms. I did just check and noticed that AKL says the rooms have club level access, the other resorts have not changed yet to that language. I guess I would just confirm with WL about your Jan stay before switching because of that change in language. Hope that helps.

AKL says that because most of the CL rooms are not on the same floor as the lounge.

Thanks for this. When I stayed at AKL, being on a different floor from the lounge - and far away from it - was a major drawback. If the set-up at WL is going to mirror that for a while, I'd opt to stay elsewhere until the refurb is complete. I'm not worried, though, because no matter what, I'm going to Disney World!

I hear you. We stayed AKL CL two years, while AKL is very nice it was a very long walk and then up the elevator to the lounge. May not seem like a big deal, but it was a waste of time and did limit the number of times we visited the lounge.

Bethany, when will you be going after your January trip? I am going April, end of September into October and December next year.

Ok DSS called my, I think Kevin? On my two concerns, he started with disclaimers that this was the policy as of today, and is subject to change ....He said YC will have designated areas for pet friendly rooms and as of today it does not include the fifth floor. He said he would pass along my concerns

More interestingly, he said his wife saw the article on DS neighbor hotels getting the 60 day FP window and he specifically checked on this the following day at work and was told it's a rumor. he said unless it's on Disneyparks blog then it's not official, has anyone seen this announcement on Disney parks blog?

To my knowledge it has only been on one blog site, one in which frankly, in my opinion, has a spotty history of accuracy. It has not been on the Disney Parks Blog or any other official or quasi-official source unless I missed it.

I assume elements of it are true, or might be being planned at some level, but seems odd to me at the moment.

Usually it seems if Disney wants to announce something without officially announcing it, they’ll leak it to more than one blog.

Could be totally off on the above, just my opinion right now.

There is a thread on this in the Rumors and News forum, like PP said it was just one site mentioning it so some have questioned if it is real.

Hi all. This thread is GINORMOUS, but I did try to skim through the last 20 pages or so! I'm looking to book a trip for next month (yeah, we're "short notice" vacationers) but are trying to decide between Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge, and Poly Club level! We've only done Club Level once before...but it was RPC! We don't necessarily have plans for parks or ADRS or anything yet, but so far have been successful in getting dining last minute so we're not super concerned about that. Obviously, the food offerings at the CL lounge plays a little bit of a factor since we are planning on doing mostly a resort stay (although we may do the Pirates and Pals tours with the girls). I figure we might grab late lunch/early dinner at the resort, but we've never tried any of the TS/Signature/QS dining at Beach Club (although we will probably try for dinner at Yachtsman at some point) or Wilderness Lodge. Any opinions on what makes sense for a convenient, "special occasion" trip (my 40th bday!) with kids (ages 8 and 6 - but they're decent eaters...their favorite restaurant is Tiffins!)?

@mommytwinkie
Bc has nice food, pretty rooms but lounge is blah.

Wl has a comfort food, older, dark, homey rooms, and near to MK. Lounge is a nice spot for holidays to peek over rail and see the decor.

Poly has the nicest looking lounge, ok food (getting better at least) great MK views and transportation.

I've done all 3. For holidays I would pick wl 1st and bc if food a priority and poly is ambiance priority .

Really can't go wrong, all are nice!

I didn't care for BC cl. The food was good but service was terrible imo. Others had better experiences around the same time I traveled. I couldn't even get a drink, horrendous wait times. I actually gave uo a couple of times. That said, we love yachtsman. Its a must do every trip.
