Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Despite our trying to get onboard with BWI we just couldn't see ourselves staying there. Maybe we're forever spoiled by the monorail and MK resorts -- plus DH is a very picky eater and didn't find any "quick service" options he would go for, the lack of mug refill locations on the inside of the resort (filling up cups and switching to mugs was just weird lol) and the longer hallways/bigger property -- all combined we foresaw us not enjoying ourselves and nitpicking on the little things that would've caused more unhappiness.

So we just made the switch to CR Atrium Club (not our beloved theme park view though since none were available), and after will compare it to Poly CL that we just came back from last month, and one of the 2 will be our forever home away from homes. :)
I can understand! I am a mono girl too. I love all the mono cl's. Each has something great to offer.

Atrium has some great cms! The view is amazing. I love that you can see down the atrium with all the hustle and bustle yet hide in the lounge too. The contemporary look of atrium club is an unique experience. LOL I tried all the different seating areas.

I am looking forward to bwi mainly to try a new one and for my mom it will be easier for our CP night.

Sorry about BWI, but I do understand. We stayed at the BC and while we had a nice stay, the limited CS options is a deal breaker for my guys (plus we prefer the monorail resorts/MK area). Hope you have a great time at CR CL. Looking forward to your comparison to Poly CL :goodvibes.

Anyone know if the sodas are available in RPC after 10 as well? I know they are free, and I know I'll have my refillable mug, but I always feel awkward about taking "one for the road" when a concierge is around.
Don't ! I remember telling them I was fetching for my lazy son/daugther, dh and they said take as many as you want. That has been at all the cl's I have been to. I have filled my purse up with 5 or 6 at a time. I just make sure to finish what I take.

Just booked two rooms for GF SL in January 2018 with the disney visa discount! We actually got a better deal staying there then we would have at the WL CL with the 25% off deal. I was kind of shocked.
Yes amazingly sometimes the deal at SL is good which is why I have been there 4 times. For the price it is a great value for what you get!

Thanks, I wasn't sure if I'd get some harsh side eye for taking a can or two of Diet Coke back to my room.

Great info, thanks! I feel like we're going onto a secret floor that we never had access to before, so I'm quite excited about the newness of this all because frankly I was pretty bored with CR overall so maybe this will have me reconsider it in the future (and if my DH is reading this, no you can't hold me to that!!) I'm assuming we have to touch the bands to the Mickey head in the elevator to go to 12? Wondering if the kid will reach. LOL.

Hope you wind up enjoying BWI, would love to read your trip report when you get back!! :)

its really a shame the epcot resorts haven't stepped up their game in the CS department -- especially after a YC/BC refurb you would've thought they would've tried to correct this problem. and thank you, looking forward to reporting back. so excited to try this CL out. :)

We took beverages back all the time. They don't care. We mostly ate in our room, even breakfast.

I'm with you. We didn't love our bc cl stau this summer. We enjoyed walking to epcot but thats it. Missed the monorail. The ride back from MK was always a hassle. We also dine along the monorail so we ended taking a lot of uber/minnievan rides.

Curious as we're now at the mercy of the buses for HS (and just added a park ticket to add on AK) -- so we go into this knowing the buses will likely be packed as will the resorts. Are there generally Uber cars waiting around if we choose to go that route instead of waiting for the bus? Or we have to use the app to get one and maybe the wait will be as long as waiting for the bus? We usually just suck up the wait time and deal with it, but have never been to Disney this close to Christmas because of daughter's issue with very high crowds.

Enjoy your stay! It sounds like you have a great plan for your vacation.:beach:
Just a few thoughts about Epcot resorts--
To me the Epcot resorts quick and CS options are different. BC just went through a refurb, and there are nice options for a quick meal there. Between the pizza window, Boardwalk Bakery, and Ample Hills a quick snack or treat is available nearby. We like to zip over to Epcot for a snack or a meal sometimes. Whether it's sharing a fish and chips in England, or heading to France for something yummy, we really don't feel like we are lacking for choice. I do agree it's more spread out.

Us too, I was usually the designated person to make breakfast (toast bagels, etc.) and bring it back to the room. I gotta start requesting tips for this service. LOL.
Us too. I bring back coffee, and then later I bring us breakfast. It's a lovely way to start the day. :sunny:

I agree. There a few options (as gwynne posted), but for us, it's still lacking as it's not as extensive as the other deluxe resorts :sad2:.

We take some back to the room everyday.

Us too ;)

This is how we feel as well. Being so close to Epcot is a nice perk, but we spend most of our time in the front of the park, so the perk of walking didn't benefit us all that much as we had to trek it to the front :(.

I agree :)

I posted this information in response to someone questioning availability at WL CL next Spring and wanted to share it here, too, for those who love WL like we do. (Yes very limited posts from me, but I read the threads almost daily and am thankful to others for sharing their insight/information!)

We returned last Friday night from a wonderful week at WL CL (exceptional staff, variety of food selections and excellent transportation experience). This was our third time staying here Club Level and it exceeded our expectations from other visits. As a result we decided to switch our February reservation from Yacht Club CL to WL CL. Oddly when I went online to make the change I immediately noticed that rather than "Club Level" the Disney website said "Club Level Access" for standard rooms.....hmm, that's new. I asked one of the CL cast members that evening and he said he would find out for me (he even went on the website while I was at the desk and saw the new notation). The next day I went back to ask and he said upon inquiring he was told that the Lodge rooms would be undergoing refurbishment/construction (the cast members had not been previously told about this so he was glad I had asked). The 7th floor and the 6th floor will be first out of inventory (due to potential noise) for the remodel so guests can book other rooms in the lodge and have access to the newly remodeled club lounge - meaning that a WL CL stay will require you to use the elevator to access club level amenities while work is being done. That was enough to cause us to leave our Feb. stay at Yacht Club CL and we will return to WL after this construction. I don't know how much is being announced or if a timeline has been confirmed, but that is the information I received from CL staff. I'm sure it will be a disappointment to many others like us, but, truth be told, the Lodge rooms do need some TLC so we are hoping for something fresh in the future.

Hi guys! I was hoping someone might be able to Help me out with a couple questions.
I was wondering about the chef in the RPC lounge. Does anybody know typically how many days he comes in, and what some of the evening offerings are?

Also, do you know typically when rooms are assigned? Is it the day of check-in, or would they know sooner? Thank you!

This is good to know, thanks for sharing :flower3:.

I can't answer about the chef, but I think rooms are assigned 3-5 days prior to arrival. Hopefully others will confirm that or correct me if I'm wrong :).

Excellent sleuth reporting! Someone around here had recently noted that they couldn’t find a single WL CL room available for any date combination between March and June (I can’t remember the exact dates so could be off) and I believe some folks suspected that could mean a room refurb coming up. Guess that sounds like it is true!?!

I do agree the rooms could use a little TLC, and maybe dare I say, a bit brighter lighting. :duck:

Thanks for the detailed info and glad you had a great WL trip!
