1. Does Disney have a history of changing hours as late as 2 months away?

2. What time does is get dark in October?

They changed Septembers hours just 2-3 weeks ago. So I'm guessing we will see it in 1-2 weeks. Ugh, the waiting is killing me.

Sunset is 7:12 pm on October 1st, gradually getting earlier each day until the 31st when it is 6:47 pm.
This is why it is so important for AK to stay open later so we can see Pandora in the dark!

I don't know, I'm starting to lose hope. I'm not even sure MK will be open past 9 on non-party nights. Just looking at July and August hours.
It would be madness not to have October and holiday crowds experience all the new night offerings Animal Kingdom has, but it's already August at this point. I'm sure they know what the hours are.

I have heard that they can/have change/adjust/update the hours even at the 30 day mark. My 60 day FP day is in 25 days...

As I was checking to see if they had updated October yet, they haven't, I noticed that the EMHs in October seem to have disappeared! I hope this is just a glitch and maybe they are in the process of updating?? Not going to panic. Yet.

I have been looking at MDE everyday- sometimes several times a day! I promise to report here as soon as I see a change. I don't know where else to look. There is a travel agent site that I know some people check, but I don't remember the URL.

You might want to check out this [Post Animal Kingdom hours increased 30 minutes on some days. Some are looking for longer hours might not see that until late Aug/Sept?

Booked SWAGS dessert party for Oct 29th if anyone else will be there! I've always scoffed at the price of these things but having beer/wine included now is a nice change. It's a surprise for DS's birthday. Thinking I should get our MNSSHP tickets too and stop putting it off since locals might like to go that weekend. Then it will just be Fastpasses left! I don't like our odds of getting FoP with only a 3 park-day trip, but 3 years ago when 7DMT was a new ride, we managed to get it for our 2nd park day on a 2 park-day trip. So hoping our luck will continue...

Did you make your choices on your phone, tablet, or laptop/desktop? The reason I ask is that my phone's MDE seems to be working better than my iPad's and I am thinking that I should probably use my phone. I prefer navigating on my iPad due to the size, but I don't want it acting all glitchy when FPs are at stake!

Mine day is a Saturday, so I'm going to be on at 6 am (Chicago time) on my laptop. I will have my phone next to me in case of any issues!

I used my phone- computer kept locking up, so I just added my fp to my spreadsheet on my laptop while using my phone to make ressies.

You can also try the transportation board! They may have some.
