I can tell you, definitively, that those APs can pay for themselves. The AP Spring Rate I got for our YC CL room was ridiculous. Throw in the shopping and restaurant discounts, and it's just been insane.

I know this won't help much, but we had a trip to wdw the first week in Dec. last year, and we are planning another the same time this year. I've seen the times posted for the first week of December already, and if it helps at all, they are posted the same as they were for the same days last year. I know that times can change right up until the day before, but still, I am making my plans based on what was just released, and it matches our plans from last year. So, you could maybe check the days from last year to begin to plan? Also, again this does change year to year, but one time change between the time when times were originally posted and the day of our trip ( 6 months) was that wdw added an extra hour opening at MK to the Saturdays in December. (Opened at 8am instead of 9am). That was the one change i remember from last year. Hope this at least helps a bit.

We were able to get FP's the last two years from 4:00 - 7:00, but nothing after 7. The way it worked though we were only able to book 2 FP's as everything else was already booked up. I've also heard people say that the latest they were able to book them for was 6:30.
 
Was able to get 2 last December- the choice of times arent clean like 4pm, 5pm and 6pm- more like 405-510 etc. But i will say- really did not need them because the rides were pretty much no wait all evening. This was 2nd week of December.

Without a party ticket you can make reservations until 6pm, including FP.

With a party ticket you can make reservations until 6pm, but fastpasses from 4-6 (could be 4-7, but they list 6pm as the official "closing time" this year which is different). Fastpasses aren't a thing during the parties and table service restaurants close.

We've never needed them before and always get on what we want, without having to be on a FP schedule. That could change closer to Christmas of course, we are still not going to book any for our 21st Christmas party but we expect it to be more crowded than our 10th party. LOL

Hello everyone!!! I have finally updated the list, but there has been a lot of chatter, so I may have missed one!! PLEASE do not hesitate to let me know!! I will fix it up as soon as I can! I am getting so excited as the days keep ticking down, it's still pretty far away but with Summer here, time is sure to fly right into fall before we know it!
