Not sure if this has been answered. Today I booked All Star Sports for Monday Nov 27th thru Sunday Dec 3rd for 2 Adults 2 Teens and one Toddler (2yrs). I upgraded our quickservice dining play to the Regular DDP (extra $500 or so, we're big fans of Character dining). For now... we have 6 days worth of Park Hoppers.
Here's my question, or scenario if you will... Mickey's Very Mery Christmas party falls on a couple of those days. We were thinking about scaling back the parkhoppers to 5 days and putting the savings towards the tickets for attending MVMCP. Would we still get the DDP credits for that day? To put it simpler... ARE THE FREE DINING CREDITS BASED ON HOW LONG WE STAY AT THE RESORT? OR HOW MANY DAYS WORTH OF PARK HOPPERS WE HAVE?

We're driving down from Ohio and have even considered adding an extra day (Sunday Nov 26th) just to chill and recoop from the drive, maybe Disney Springs, some pool time and heavy napping, NO PARK). Would adding that extra day to our reservation require purchasing more park tickets in order to get free dining? Or will it be included just with our stay?

The dining plan is based on how many nights you are staying, The tickets don't matter as long as you have the amount required to get the free dining discount which I believe was 2 day park hopper.

Aahahaha!! Autocorrect got me. It was supposed to be crap shoot (almost got me again but I was on the lookout). Now I'm imagining a very dapper English chap out for a duel.

Stacy

Darn that auto-correct!!!! On my cellphone, when I do voice to text, it really is my enemy.

And I love this: Now I'm imagining a very dapper English chap out for a duel. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I was on the Disney website this morning and out of curiosity checked the availability at Pop for our week in August: 19-28 with the Disney Visa offer and there was availability in all categories but Preferred Pool View, so I quickly sent an e-mail to our TA and she got back to me that she was able to change our two rooms to FD and keep our same category of Standard Pool View. She said she was getting ready to check to see if anything opened up for any of the clients she could not get FD for yesterday, so she thanked me for the heads up.
We stuck with the QS and of course had to add the PHs but the price the reservation increased by is still a few hundred less than I would have paid to eat OOP and now all our food and snacks are taken care of since we eat breakfast in the room.
Doing the happy dance today :cool1::banana:pixiedust:

What time was that?

I was just checking to see if I could change my reservation from standard package for the summer thinking there wouldn't be any availability. They somehow had free dining available for me to book.

10 days August 25th through September 3rd at Pop! We were looking at the room discount and this will end up saving us about $500 net.

ok free dining offers are weird. When I put in my dates I dont see anything available-but when I add days then I can see rooms available...ok so how can it be available for my days only if I stay 3 days longer...if my dates are available then they should still be available even if I am take 3 days away
Yes, this is really bugging me too. I accidentally put if two weeks instead of one, and exactly what I wanted showed up! Then I saw the price and realized my mistake.

Staying at music is not my ideal. I almost didn't book, but I told myself that just because I can't afford the Ferrari doesn't mean I shouldn't buy the Corolla. Some of the TripAdvisor comments made me really worried that it is dirty and run down there. Please convince me otherwise!!
I've stayed at Music and liked it just fine. I don't know how many of you are in the room--it does have full size beds not queen, if that matters to you. But that's how it is at all the values. Our room was perfectly fine, the theme is cute. We're staying at Sports for the first time this fall, would have been happy with Music as well. (So far I have stayed at AKL, BC, Pop, and Music--I preferred Music to Pop, though I feel like a rarity for that)

Does anyone have the link to the visa offer. I had it but now I can't find it.

If you can book what you want I would and then I would call and have the cm take off the extra days. These FD availability issues are beyond weird

I'm getting ready to release a FD package reservation. I booked it in a panic move as a backup in case I couldn't get FD for my CBR ressie. It's a Pop Standard Room for 9/9-9/15. If anyone is still looking for Pop Standard I don't mind coordinating. :rainbow:
