Ok. So this is OT but I joined Disboard back in 2014 but just really started using it this year. Is there a way to recognize fellow Disboarders when in the parks???

Did you check your email? Maybe they changed the reservation number anyway. Did you try to enter the old reservation number back into MDX?
 
I really wanted CBR or Amu suite for the 5 of us, seemed to be the most economical.............I was not able to get those and panicked and got Wilderness cabins, AoA suite AND 2 rooms at ASSports. I did not research any of those. The 2 rooms at sports is the least expensive. The cabins and aoa are both about 700 more. Which would you keep and why? Anything great or awful about any of those? Thank you so much!

Keep trying for CBR. A lot of TA's had holds on rooms there. What dates are you looking for?

Woke up at 3 am CST. FD dropped at 4:33 CST and was able to modify all 4 of our rooms at Pop for Dec. 9-14 in less than 10 minutes and received email confirmations for all rooms. I was so tired but could not go back to sleep due to excitement!!

Now.... to wait for May 18th for Southwest flights to open up for December.:bored:

Dining credits expire at midnight I believe. you can check out and into a new Hotel and still use those credits. we do that all the time.. sometimes there might be a glitch.. but the Server has always taken care of it with a phone call. ( this was back when Magic bands first came out).. it's like the pool and other amenites.. good for entire day of check-out

it could be your original booking was with park ticketd before the price increade.

Does anyone know if the Southwest flights gets cheaper as the date draws nearer or more expensive? Not sure I want to jump on the flights as soon as they release but also don't want to miss the boat!

That is an individual choice. I would have gone Sports this morning if I saw it available and that much lower. All of the kids just really like the theme - plus 3 football kids and 1 cheerleader. We liked the pool in the back - had 3rd floor looking down at it - drive so the car was parked right by it.. just was good overall. With that said, I am excited about AoA - never been there. When we stayed anywhere it is always 2 connecting rooms. It is Disney though - enough said :)

I definitely will do my own booking next time, so I can modify myself. I may not have been able to find anything either, but at least I'd have known I tried!

Have you had her look for a cabin? We booked one this morning. They sleep 6. Ours was booked through a visa link
 
So I was originally going to go Nov 12-18 and not worry about the dining plan however I changed my mind. I've changed my dates to Nov 14-18 but will still be at POP. This year I am not upgrading the dining package since I am going solo. It will be sad to be there by myself for my 40th but that's ok I've been on a solo trip before and loved it.

Usually the closer the more expensive. Unless they throw a sale in. With SW you can always Get the difference back in credits if they go on sale and you sre a le to rebook cheaper.
