Gonna be honest here and tell you I don't remember. I read it before the God awful infusion on Monday and I truly don't remember much leading up to and the first couple days right after... Or just plain ol old age striking again!

I'm dreading potentially having to use one of those things while grocery shopping for Thanksgiving.

But it'll make hauling the turkey out to the car easy!

Let's just say that the horn on the scooters at Target are a little.... lacking. I was joking with DH that I had a horn and I could use it. He then proceeded to say "Fine then go ahead." I was hoping for a nice meep meep or something. What came out was the most pitiful beeping sound ever.

That just makes me laugh.
I want to see a video where someone
wires one of those super loud air horns
onto one of those.

I don't do good with reverse. Part of that might be the fact that I crack up every time I go to do it and hear the beeping sound for backing up.

On one of our cruises, Fran brought one of those "ah-oooo-ga" clown horns and put it in her basket. At lunch one day the servers let her ride the scooter to the table and they took it back to the restaurant entrance. All through lunch we heard that horn and they were laughing like little school boys. She put it back in the suitcase after that.

No turkey hauling needed for me. I took the cheaters way and ordered a smoked turkey to be delivered to my house. All I gotta do is slice and serve.

The other day my friend went to The Barn Restaurant in Smithville. I'd love to take you there one day. It's actually in an old renovated barn. I got the unlimited soup and bread bar. Five kinds of soup (chili, bean, chicken noodle, beef vegetable and broccoli cheese noodle) and four kinds of bread (white, wheat, cornbread and muffins). Also regular butter or honey butter. I didn't get it but there's also a salad wagon. It's huge and in a real wagon! They have meals and sandwiches too but who needs them with unlimited soup! They also have some stores and a lake with a gazeboo. They have swings and you can feed the ducks. It's really nice! Since you didn't post the next chapter I thought I'd share.

and the food.

Salty Butter instead is a bit odd.
