Are there any restaurants in WDW that you won't eat at?

There is no places we have eaten in the past that were so horrible we will never go back. We most likely won't go back to 50's Primtime just because DH didn't really care for the antics, but the food was really good.

We probably won't every try Hollywood and Vine because we don't have little kids that would like those characters and it does have really bad reviews. Normally I take all bad reviews with a grain of salt, but the ones for H&V seem very consistently bad.

Trex very loud but excellent food and extensive menu
1900 park fare dinner is horrible... buffet one of the worst..comparable to golden corral..yuck..only my opinion...buffet breakfast
Gared toward kids not adults

If everything was free, I would literally take a turkey leg and dole whip over the following:

Chef Mickey's
Cosmic Ray's
Hollywood and Vine
Tony's Town Square

I will tolerate Chef Mickey's for BREAKFAST only. I would eat a rice krispy for dinner over Chef Mickey's dinner. We love 1900PF, Crystal Palace and Tusker House for breakfast, but absolutely not for dinner. The last thing I want in Disney is old country buffet or golden corral equivalent food for dinner.

Well - it depends :). If all Sandy and I want is a coke with ice? Anyplace is fine....

REAL meals ? We stick to Sigs. Of those, we avoid the "crowd control" Sigs (Le Celier, CRT, MP).

About the only place we REFUSE to go to is BOG. Still unhappy with the concept of a Cosmic Ray Menu in what COULD have been a stunning Signature.... :(.

Nothing that's so terrible that I would refuse to eat there.

There are places I wouldn't choose again: Sci Fi, BOG (lunch), Kona (breakfast), 'Ohana (dinner). And of course, you'll find people who love all of those places.

Have to be another H&V. I really wanted to like it. We have been twice with several years between visits and it was bad both times. I am pretty laid back when it comes to service, but it was hot and we never had our drinks refilled either time and I even went and asked out servers for more drinks, still didn't get them. Plates were never bussed, the food wasn't the right temp in that hot food was cold and cold food was hot and the buffet area was a mess.

I'm going to go with Hollywood and Vine for this question, since nobody in my family is interested in the Disney Jr. characters and the food reviews are spotty. Probably not Restaurant Marrakesh either, since Moroccan cuisine isn't my thing.

Everyone is saying how bad H&V is, but their breakfast is really good. Dinner I don't know about. I wouldn't go back to the Coral Reef food wasn't good and it's a little pricey. Ohauna the meat was tough and dry, and all of the hot sides were just warm at best. The service in both of these places was great, just not the food. I can say the bread pudding is to die for at Ohauna.

I would eat a bowl full of ice cubes and wash it down with a glass of Orlando tap water before I eat Chef Mickey's again. :rotfl2:

What a topic!!!

Hmmm

Top of the list is the undisputed champion - NINE DRAGONS.

Awful.

Cinderellas.
Cape may dinner - love beach club but I wouldn't pay to eat in a place that smells like long John silvers and I do love seafood...
Any quickserve in MGM... Notable commissary and pizza planet. They're joking, right?

Tony's... Sadly...because the potential is there but the food is embarassing.

I think the wave is terrible... I see people talking about how good it is but it's pretty awful to be honest - my taste I guess.

Oh yeah...chef mickeys is a crock too...

We actually like H&V, the breakfast was good and we had a great time at the Star Wars meal there. Even Chef Mickey's dinner was surprisingly good, I was expecting the worst. The only place we will absolutely not go back to is Tony's.

I agree...breakfast is ok at Hollywood and vine but it's tough to screw up breakfast.

Coral reef is only ambience at this point... There menu isn't good and desperately in need of some attention.

And couldn't agree more about Ohana...the dinner is highly overrated and I find the place to be chaotic and not great service.

I gotta ask... Do you find any of the signatures "stunning" these days?

V&As, maybe Jiko...some days/things at artists point, Cali grill, brown derby...

They've declined in quality as well...

Only went to Monsieur Paul once at this point and I was a bigger fan of bistro.

I agree with the bold! Unfortunately, we were too stuffed to eat much of it, and sitting there with an insane amount of food on the table that no one was going to make a dent in. I felt like an overstuffed jerk.

Hollywood & Vine (no interest in Disney Jr).
Akershus (no interest in princesses or Norwegian food)
Restaurant Marrakesh (no interest in that food)

I've never tried them and likely never will.

We had dinner at Mama Melrose last night and we will never eat there again. The food was bland and disgusting.

We had a great expirence at T Tex last Sunday. It was probably one of the best meals of our trip.
