We all beg for any info Joe has, and he tells us. It very well could have been all true, and Disney switched it to try and get us to quit listening to tip offs. I personally would rather he give us the info, and be wrong, then to not tell us because he's afraid of the backlash....and we all miss it. Keep "whispering" Joe, we are listening......People, quit bashing the couple that got pixie dust. We are all jealous, but not need to be mean, that person has been a member for a long time, and not a troll.

I do notice a trend. Last August everything was right except the Visa date. This time, it's once again the Visa date....hmmm.

I think they like switching that one around, and probably why prior "rumorists" never touched it with a ten foot pole.

I have to get to work but came back home to link the reservation number I was given in My Disney Experience and it came up. No email yet. Was in a hurry to get the kids to school and off to work so I couldn't get any other details. Just what I posted earlier. Booked under FD for Visa Holders (not a PIN). Both Port Orleans were excluded. We are at Caribbean Beach September 19-27 with free dining. Coronado also included but no availability on my dates.

Good luck everyone else. So glad I called back. I am sincerely grateful that I got a CM that had the info. But just sick that it isn't going out across the board. I hope the memo goes out to all the CMs soon. Don't know what's going on but hope Pixie dust is sprinkled liberally and soon!

On my My Disney Experience account it lists my package as "MYW Pkg + FREE Dining". Good luck!

So was it "visa" FD, or just FD? Did they require Disney Visa?

I couldn't agree more! For the people backlashing against Joe, if it weren't for him we wouldn't even have these projected dates and release dates for this promo.. Walk softly folks. He does nothing but help us, if it weren't for his information in this thread 98% of us wouldn't have any clue to have even called today. It's coming and Disney is the only one who has control of it. Be thankful for the tip offs because joe and everyone else that pitches in with these efforts to help us find out about up coming offers, they don't have to help us and if I were joe and getting feed back like some of you have given I wouldn't care to help again in the future. Please please please joe don't leave us lol! Let's all be kind and remember we are all on these boards to HELP eachother with our trips.

I had called at 4:05ish. Was on hold for several minutes. Just before a CM came on the line I decided to check here. I was about to hang up cause I had seen that there was no FD, just then a CM came on. I told her I had just discovered what I was calling about wasn't happening today. She was very nice and said there were a lot of calls this morning. Thank you to whoever told a CM that "the guy making the predictions has been right for 2 yrs in a row". I think it helped them understand why we would follow a "rumor". She said they were told to tell all of us that we need to refer to the official website for info. I told her that when it's released to DV card holders that info doesn't go up on the official site right away. I think she realizes that but is supposed to tell us their standard reply.

Ok...going to rant for a moment...everyone needs to remember that Joe only passes along what he hears. If you want to base your entire trip on what he says that's fine. But don't backlash when it doesn't happen. And for the few that managed to get some serious pixie dust today...CONGRATULATIONS! Ignore the comments and smarta$$ remarks. We all know Disney has no rhyme or reason to anything they do. FD will be released, I believe that. When??? That's up to Disney and only Disney. Ok done rant. Have a great day!!!!!!

CM I spoke with said regarding my FD inquiry, "That's coming out tomorrow" I almost dropped the phone at how she just blurted that so casually!!! Then she paused, maybe realizing she shouldn't have slipped and she said, "Well, SOMETHNING is coming out tomorrow. But it gets VERY busy, so call early, we open at 7. If I were you I'd be on the phone right at 7. Remember it's based upon availability so you want to call right away."

I'm feeling hopeful. We are a family of 5. If POR is excluded we've decided we will spend the extra $ to bump up to a Deluxe (hopefully Beach Club). It would only be a little more than staying at POR and paying oop for our food. Never stayed at a deluxe so that prospect is exciting! I can't imagine how cool it is to walk to Epcot!

Our calculations must be different because I have it as like 1K more....

Me either. I see people trying to head it off (myself included) but I haven't noticed anyone directing their disgust at joe himself. (and it better stay that way!! )

I truly believe those who got free dining today, did! Usually we get a clueless CM who says no FD, when there is; today the tables were turned for the few lucky folks who got the CM that did not read the updated memo. Congrats you alll!

I think that lends support that May 1 was a target date, but there is A LOT going on at Disney today; DHS 25th and Mine Train to name a couple. Everyone's time to get pixie dusted with Free Dining will come! Let us not lose sight of why their are these promos: They are to sell the rooms that are not selling; if we want the bargain price, we have to settle for what is left...

Curious...were you inquiring about VISA FD or just FD in general?

Joe is amazing. We need someone to follow just to keep us sane. I am at work by 6:00am Eastern Time every week day so I will be calling first thing at 7:00am. I will let everyone know what happens as soon as I get off the phone. I have 4 reservations with 14 people that I have to deal with so it may take some time. Good luck to everyone and remember that no matter what, we are all going to Disney World!!!

I waited on hold for 20 minutes. 6:04-6:24 and got Skyler, she was very sweet but "we don't know until we walk in the door" and "no free dining today" is about all I could get out of her

IF tomorrow is FD for Disney Visa holder's, POR may be excluded to give something for the general public when that offer goes live.

Just a thought.

I remember during my haitus from the Dis, there were always those doing these predictions but never gave the visa date. Did everyone just start calling a week before the rumored date until they hit it?

I always thought it was good to come up with a possible Visa date, even though they have excluded it in the past, but it seems to be pretty futile these days. Maybe that's why the rumors of the past didn't include the Visa information at all.

In any event....perhaps it should've always been "May 7 for public and may come sooner for Visa". But to me, that wasn't very helpful.

Well, I, for one, appreciate all the helpful info you put out for us.
No matter what, right or wrong, it helps us to be on alert for the possibility of something happening.
Heck, even this morning, two people got free dining because you said it was rumored to come out today.
It could have just as easily happened for the rest of us as well!

You have to ignore the crankpots who get upset when it doesn't go how you predict, and focus on the positive posts from the rest of us who understand.
Those who are upset need to get a clue and realize that you are making your best educated guess, using whatever info you have been able to gather.
What more can anyone ask?!?

Remember that the vast majority of us on where, appreciate everything you do, and anxiously await every post you make!!!

I has a similar experience. Super sweet cast member and after she SD nothing today I asked if she knew when and she said. I would try back first thing in the morning. Its great way to start the weekend. Fingers crossed!!!
My TA also said probably tomorrow.
May be back tomorrow the Port Orleans exclusions will change I'm going regardless this is very stressful
